Words hurt Jaden. Even if I have a desire for you- you need to learn how to
keep your mouth closed. You've always had a temper problem. You
never physically hurt me, that was never an option in your mind. You've
told that to me so many times. But how is it that you hurt me more
mentally than physically? And how come your words hurt more than any
finger you could lay on me? Of course you never felt that pain. You
might've thought of me, but have you thought further into the
situation? Unlikely...
I walked out of the house, I might have a plan, but Jaden is something
else. There's so much I can have for one night.
"Kendra!" He calls out for me. I turn and he's standing on his front porch,
staring at me as my patience slowly drains.
"'Look- I'm sorry," he says and I roll my eyes, scoffing as I turn back
around.
"Kendra!" The crack in his voice was very more noticeable than the anger
that might've past him. "Jaden what do you want?!" I turn back around. He's on the grass now,
walking through the path of plants just to be face to face with me again.
"You." he tries to say.
"Right." I scoff again, little did he know that my heart lit up once again.
Over the words that he said a few minutes ago.
'I'm serious! Just- come over tm after school." he asks.
"I don't know Jaden. Shouldn't you be with the girl you love?" I spit.
1 hear him sigh, running his hands through his hair.
"I'll tell you what you want," he rubs the back of his hand on his eyes,
informing me that he's stressed. I simply nod, crossing my arms and
turn again.
"Do you want a ride?" He asks obviously knowing I don't live anywhere
close to here.
The car ride was quiet, we never were the couple who enjoyed the car
rides together. Or him at least.
"I don't want to fight." he admits as I direct him to my new house.
"Yeah." I said plainly.
"I'm serious Kendra, I haven't seen you in forever I just-I'm sorry," he
admits. I wonder if he saw how fast my head turned.
"I just don't know why you did it-" I shrug, pulling into the driveway of
my empty house.
"We have time- your here now," he slides his hand onto my thigh.
Swiping the pad of his thumb across my skin, giving me goosebumps.
"I'll see you tm?" He asks and I nod, opening the door to the car and
walking up to my porch.
"Goodbye!" He yells before I open my front door.
I smile, waving to him as I see him smile through the windshield. He
pulled out, letting me let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding.
