All I could see was the shark's teeth on my right arm and holding on to it tight. I could hear people screaming, but I was starting to black out. All of a sudden, a shock of pain was occurring on my right arm and the water turned red. I blacked out. When I opened my eyes I was in a hospital on those rolling beds and was being pulled by doctors, mama, and papa. Papa was crying and so was mama. My mama and papa let go of the bed while the doctors took me into a room where they were doing surgery on me, but I blacked out again. I woke up and I had a cast and my family and team were in my room. "What happened?" My mama said, "Michelle, you were in a shark attack and it cut your arm off." "What?!" I looked at my arm and no it can't be...........my pitching arm. The doctor came in and said that I need to stay in the hospital for about 3 days, but I was really lucky to be alive. Well yeah, I'm a tough girl, I guess. I was asking Mrs.Jennings about the games, but she said don't worry about it and that I need to rest and the game was next week. "Alright." My whole team left to their hotel. I turned on the tv and the news reporter with an Australian accent said, "Breaking news and actually it's sad but relieving and we don't have to talk about that stupid blue and black or white and gold dress. Anyways, there was a shark attack in the Gold Coast Beach and the person that got attacked was a girl named Michelle Garcia. She was relaxing on her surfboard and a shark attacked her.Her right arm was ripped off by the shark. The people who were at the beach said that the shark appeared to be a Great White. She is fine and she is in the hospital reviving." A Great White really? I thought it was smaller, but I was blacked out, so I don't know. I just noticed something, I haven't texted Karina in the longest time, but I still think we're best friends, right? I got a text from Justin asking if I was okay and it made me happy that he wanted to know if I was feeling okay. My arm is missing and of course it's my pitching arm.....ugh why couldn't the shark bite the left one. I should go back to the beach and.....eh just kidding. My arm was hurting a bit and mama told me that papa was getting everybody food, but there is a long line. Marisol was in the restroom and Juan was sleeping on the chair. I forgot something too, who was that person who said at my game with the Standord college scout and playing versus the Black Widows, "Come on Michelle, you can do it mija." I still don't know who it is, but I guess it stays a mystery.
