Many weeks had passed since Shido and Tohka finally woke up from their enlightening encounter. The Commander, Kotori, didn't waste time and quickly explained the whole situation with a scowling look towards the drowsy teens. Of course, seeing her a bit pissed by said situation made Shido more aware of the need to be delicate in dealing with his sister in the future, lest he get punted all over again by an insensitive remark on his part.

Because Unknown had run away so suddenly, it prompted both the Itsuka siblings and sometimes Tohka to patrol after school and the city to find Unknown.

But sadly, every time they got close, Unknown would vanish instantly. And when everyone wanted to search for clues at her previous sightings, there weren't many signs to track her next move.

It's not that they couldn't detect her on Fraxinus' monitors to make tracking easier, but whenever some of the members could pick up a whiff of her readings, she would instantly teleport somewhere far away that their technology wouldn't detect for an hour, making the whole tracking process a lot more complicated for the team back at headquarters, so they opted towards doing it more manually since they did almost catch her.

And while this whole dilemma was happening, Shido couldn't help but worry about Unknown. The boy was just too nice for his own good. To him, Unknown was just a kid, a kid who looked to be the same age as his own little sister. And as an older brother himself, he couldn't stop his concern since it was part of his instinct, especially since his job was to keep the Spirits be safe.

So it was no surprise that his concern was firmly lodged in his mind from morning to night, at home and during school hours. It was so much and so damn obvious that it made the lovable Tohka slightly jealous, despite not even knowing her feelings. So whenever Shido brought up the topic of the new Spirit, Tohka couldn't help but pout and huff as the boy only tilted his head in confusion, a sweatdrop falling whenever said Spirit looked away.

Of course, watching this from home and on the screen, both Kotori and her team couldn't help but moan in distress at their now busy schedules as they all tried to calm Tohka down whenever Shido said something that made the girl upset.

And it didn't help much when the dense idiot constantly talked about Unknown to the irritated Spirit. Kotori, who was well aware of Tohka's mood, was actually surprised at how well Tohka was holding her irritation in.

However, that doesn't mean Kotori would just stand by and let the situation escalate, so after much time getting angry at her dense of a brother, she forced Shido to focus back on school and leave the search for Unknown to them, hoping her brother wouldn't be an idiot in front of Tohka.

Later at School.

Fortunately for Kotori, she hadn't heard any reports of an angry Spirit or any signs of trouble, allowing her and her crew to rest a bit easier for the moment. Unfortunately, the situation wasn't much better for Shido at school after Tohka transferred many weeks ago.

So when he didn't have to worry about Unknown in Tohka's presence, now he found himself preoccupied with his own problems.

Since things became even more chaotic with the constant fights between Origami and Tohka, each trying to one-up the other with petty competitions, so as a result, Shido found himself mediating between them, preventing them from physically attacking each other for the most part (Shido always gets mixed results when intervening; sometimes their fight would end peacefully, and 80% of the time it ends with his suffering).

And for today's competition, their fight seemed to revolve around cookies. Shido knew all too well the disasters that occurred whenever they had Home Economics class.

Oh, his poor stomach.

"Don't interfere! Shido's going to eat my cookies instead of yours, so scram!" Tohka exclaimed in the early afternoon, while Origami scoffed. Their plates clashed on Shido's table, causing whispers to spread among his classmates. And once again, Shido resigned himself to their antics.

"The one who's interfering is you. You should leave immediately." Origami calmly retorted.

"What are you saying? Coming later and acting all high and mighty!" Tohka snapped angrily at the white-haired girl.
