Location: Itsuka's Resident, Kitchen.

"What...!?" Neptune shouted in disbelief when she heard what Shido had said.

"Ehh...? Why do you seem so surprised Neptune..?" Shido said with a puzzled face.

"Ermm... Don't you know what Christmas is..? I mean you are a Spirit.... Like Tohka and Yoshino you don't seem-" he muttered the last part only to be interrupted vehemently by Neptune's rapidly waving hand.

"No.No.No.no.no.no.no.No.No.No..! Not that part!! I do know what Christmas is, you simpleton!! But rather I want to know why exactly there aren't any ice creams or puddings on the menu..!!"

"Eh.... But those don't really fit with the theme..." Shido answered rather unsurely while a little irked at the insult.

"Nope! You're suppeerr wrong!! It fits so well with the theme, that it's supposed to be a requirement for all countries!!" Neptune then retorted while waving her head slowly as if she was the adult while Shido was the child in the wrong.

Shido just sighed tiredly at her stubborn attitude and fished something in his pockets. As he brought his wallet out, he took a bill and gave it to Neptune.

"How about we compromise..? I can't really buy those stuff while cooking since we need to prepare this for tonight, so how about you buy it instead? I'll be tending to the kitchen the whole day so I won't have any time to go shopping for some entertainment stuff for Yoshino, Tohka and You, so I'll be asking you to not only buy your treats but also some party games okay..?" Shido says seriously as he looks Neptune in the eye while also giving her a piece of paper.

"What's with the paper...?" Neptune asked curiously while looking towards the list of party supplies.

"It's a list, see? It has the price and the location so you won't get lost in the market district." Shido smiled as he pats her head gently. Neptune couldn't help but think that Shido was treating her as a child because of her looks, but since it's Christmas.... She'll try to endure it..... For now at least.

"And if there's some change, then you can keep it. You can buy anything that you want with it.....eh... So long as it's legal, okay?" Shido continued but finished unsurely when he thought of Neptune buying....some....er not age appropriate things.

To Shido, Neptune is still a Spirit(?)... a young Spirit(?).... and also an unknown one at that.

She may be more knowledgeable than Tohka and Yoshino about modern society and the norms, but she's also the one who's hard to keep in check and also a danger to everyone and herself.

A power that associates a need to have the misery of others and the despair of oneself coursing through their system may be the most dangerous and self-destructive power that he has ever heard.

Negativity isn't really all evil. Everybody needs to feel a little ounce or a huge quantity negative once in a while, it isn't considered evil... Not really.

But the risk of drowning in such an emotion will be high, and escaping from it will be hard....

It isn't evil but it's dangerous.

That's why evil and danger are different. Evil can be associated as dangerous but danger itself cannot. Afterall you can't really perceive something that doesn't live and those who live only on instinct, as evil..... there's no such thing as an evil animal, an evil plant, an evil weather, an evil furniture or an evil feeling.
