Lastation, the Steampunk Landmass.

The Land of Black Regality.

The Nation that is noted for its bleak outlook and smokey atmosphere. A place that seems like a gigantic junkyard instead of a city, with dismal colors and rotting pieces.

If you ask me, I think.... There's nothing Regal about that.

Not to mention the people that live there.

They're nothing more than a gang of imbeciles in charge of another set of imbeciles and morons, all of whom are foolish and weak.....|

"That's quite severe, Lady Black Heart. While I agree with some of your statements, though declaring that 'all' the inhabitants are idiots on your diary is too much," a tomboyish voice grumbled from the side of the dark and cramped chamber.

"And please don't disparage the Nation; it is the people, not our home, who are to blame."

The small girl in the center, seated in a chair and staring intently at her new computer, scoffs loudly at that.

"Are you joking, Kei? Harsh? This isn't even that bad. I didn't take you for the easily offended type.“

"Hmm, I'm not, but I'm just giving you some feedback from a different angle. As I already stated many times, not everyone is alike. They have opposing perspectives and personalities. So, in my opinion, lumping some decent individuals in with the others is a bit unfair." Kei said simply, directing her smile at the resistant CPU. "Plus, what does it make me if you say everyone? After all, I am your trusted Oracle? Am I an idiot aswell?“

As the Goddess eventually turns around to face her Oracle, she puffed her cheeks in a defiant manner and huffs angrily as she crosses her arms together. Her two red eyes squinted at Kei, as if assessing her.

“An idiot? No, but a fool? Yes," she said unwillingly, as Kei looked perplexedly at her Nation's CPU, as if asking her to elaborate.

"Ugh... you do realize that doing this will make you a traitor, right? They'll kill you under the guise of collaborating with the enemy if they even get a whiff of what you're trying to do. As a result, you're a fool for doing so, and why even risk  your life with a stranger you have no connections with? Isn't that counterproductive?“

Kei offered a tiny laugh at that. As if unconcerned about what the CPU had to say.

“Yes, giving you a computer to socialize, already warrants my death. I can see how this rationale may lead you to feel they're stupid," Kei says with mirth, but her smile rapidly fades into a thoughtful frown. "A fool? Yes, I do believe that describes me perfectly. But, Noire, I'm only human. And everyone has flaws. You may be perplexed as to why I'm doing this for you, but what does it mean to me? This, I believe, was and will forever be the right call to make. After all.... Humans, CPUs, and even monsters all deserve to be free."

“…”

“Well, whatever. It's already time for me to leave. And Lady Black Heart? Before I leave, please atleast get one online friend. I think you desperately needed it.“ And with that, Kei quickly exited the room but not before giving Noire a wave of goodbye.

When Kei eventually left, Noire, who was now alone, began wildly shaking her head and complaining without restraint. She leapt to her feet and dashed for her bed, which was dangerously close to her workstation. And she rolled over it violently, her face flushed.
