"Uhhh...." The tome just sighed in defeat, signifying that she has already given up on the matter and making Shido who was now infront of his little sister, slumped back in relief.

Seems like Kisser wanted to have some peace after all that went down earlier.

However I couldn't help but be a bit disappointed at her quick surrender..... After all, if Croire doesn't give up, maybe I'll learn something important about my past.

But... Woe me~ Seems like the plot didn't want me to learn something right away..

Really.... Stories are such a pain for the simple yet unique character such as I.

"Let's just get this over with..." Croire groaned while floating closer towards my small form. As She suddenly stopped in front of me, I took a step back in reflex.

I couldn't really help it, I would always do that in the past to avoid bumping into someone..... I was sadly a skittish person before all of this, kinda weird for most of my time if I were to be honest.

"Don't step back! I need you to stay still dammit-!" Annoyed Croire uses some of her magic on me, caught in surprise I couldn't help but squeal when I suddenly felt that I was somehow electrified by something ..... It didn't hurt....but you can call it a.... Shocking Experience~?

Though I guess it surprises the others since they all made some funny sounds. Well except for Miss Reine.... She just blinked in surprise.

"D-did you just give me a status effect...? More specifically.... Me being paralyzed??'' I couldn't help but question the tome as I was in disbelief at my current status..... Well I was actually more dumbfounded when a screen suddenly lit up in front of me as it told me that I was paralyzed.

Meh, no one would ever know. Plus you would be shocked too if you were in my shoes...er feet.

It was also a strange feeling, being under paralysis like in some games. I mean you could see literal sparks on my body being visible, and I couldn't really move much of my body without getting some harsh shocks that racked throughout my system and somehow, along those shocks provided massive unpleasantness making me a tad bit uncomfortable.

I didn't move an inch after that, lest I get shocked again. However, the people in the room suddenly became pissed..? Well piss isn't really a good word to describe it.... More like everyone was taken aback and then was on guard quickly. Yoshino though... The Spirit just trembled while watching everything unfold.

"Tch... Don't be such a baby. It'll wear off quickly and it ain't permanent. It's also necessary since you move so fricking much-!" Croire complained when she saw the unpleasant face everyone was making. "Hey.... Not all of you really need to be present here. So those who I deem are useless, how bout some of you scram..?"

Shido looks indignantly, Kotori looks offended, Yoshino is troubled, Tohka riled up while Reine just looks blankly at the tome's word.

"H-hey..!!" Shido shouted out.
