Her First Endercon (Nikki x Radar)

(Nikki's POV)
I walked giddily with Jesse through the streets of Endecon. It had been my first time going to the convention with my elder brother. I had begged him for years and years to let me go, and he would always tell me once I turned sixteen I could go. On my sixteenth birthday, Jesse had gotten two Endercon tickets which made me super happy and excited.

Finally, the time had come for me to go. I looked around in awe at all the stands and activities that were available to enjoy. All the bright colors and unique smells of fried foods gave me butterflies in my stomach. I was so nervous yet excited at the same time I could barely wait a second longer. While in thought, I could faintly hear Jesse chuckling at me.

"Excited much?" he asked teasingly.

I shook my head out of my thoughts and looked up at him childishly, "Hell yeah! It's my first year going to Endercon after eleven years of begging to go!"

"Well, just don't get lost and stay safe," Jesse said.

I gave him a confused look, "Wait, you're not going to stay with me?"

"No, you're sixteen, I'm going to give you free roam of Endercon," Jesse responded.

My eyes widened in shock, "Really?!"

"Yep, just stay safe and meet me at the Keynote in a couple hours," Jesse said while nodding.

With that, my brother walked off to go meet up with his friends. I smiled widely as I started to make my way to the map stand. I knew that was the first thing I should do since I didn't know my way around or what to do first.

After I picked up a map, I started to make my way through the convention. I looked around and played a couple games while traversing the convention. While doing this, I stopped at a balloon popping game. My eyes lit up because I loved these types of games. I ran over and paid the stand person.

Once I gave him the money, he handed me three darts. I took my first dart and fired at one of the top balloons. I sadly missed the balloon, the dart landing inches under it. I tired again a second and third time, still missing the balloons.

"Aw, bad luck. Wanna try again?" the stand person asked me.

I shook my head, "I'm good."

"I'll try for her," another man said while walking over.

I look behind me, blushing slightly at the dark haired, tan skin guy approaching me. He stood next to me and handed the man the money. The guy gave him five darts since he paid a little more than me. The young man fired his first dart, hitting the balloon with ease. He did this with the other four darts and hit every balloon he fired at.

"We have a winner!" the stand person said excitedly.

The young man smiled at me, "Go ahead, pick one."

"O-okay," I stuttered nervously.

I pointed to the wolf puppy plush, the stand person chuckling while grabbing it for me. He handed it to me with a wide smile before the guy and I walked away from the stand.

"Oh my Notch, thank you so much!" I thanked him excitedly.

The young man chuckled, "No problem cutie pie. The name's Radar by the way."

"Nikki is mine," I giggled, "Say, wanna hang out for a bit?"

Radar nodded, "Of course! I came here to make new friends."

I giggled as I leaned against Radar. He smiled at me, wrapping an arm around my waist. We started to chat a bit while making our way through Endercon. I had brought up that it was my first time going, so Radar told me to follow him.
