(Milo's POV)
Life in the New Sky City has been quite eventful. Everything from new builds being made to people asking how to craft a simple lever has happened. It wasn't anything too crazy for us to handle; however, I started to notice something off with Isa. I just couldn't put my finger on it, but she seemed more... tired to put it simply.

It all started about a month ago. Isa and I were a little overwhelmed with everything asking what we were supposed to do about rulership and laws for the city. Isa, as per the usual, took charge on the matter. I tried to convince her to take things easy, as the citizens needed to learn more on their own. But we all know her, she's about as stubborn as a mule when she wants to be. Recently, that stubborn behavior has caused her to exhaust most of her energy. She became more lethargic by the day, and it broke my heart to see her like this.

Today, things took a very dark turn while Isa and I were helping some citizens build a library. Everything seemed to be going smoothly with the build. I was helping build the floors while Isa took to helping build the walls and roof structures. I finished up the floor and looked up to check on Isa. It was a good thing I did because she had started swaying a bit.

"Isa, I think you might want to take a break!" I called out to her while walking over.

Isa gave me an exasperated sigh, "Milo, I am perfectly fine! Just go grab some materials or something!"

"You look exhausted, come down before you get hurt!" I ordered her.

She huffed at me, "For the last time, you do not get to tell me what to do! I am perfect–perfectly fi–"

With that, she had lost consciousness and slipped over the edge. Luckily, I was able to catch her in my arms. I cradled the unconscious woman in my arms, looking visibly worried. I gave the two citizens a sharp look before barking,

"Go get help now!"

The two nodded, "Yes sir!"

They ran off to seek help while I rushed Isa back to our house. When we got home, I quickly took her to her bedroom and laid her down in bed. I removed her sandals and her golden headband with an amber accent. After removing that, I covered her in the thin silk sheets before grabbing a more fluffy blanket. I placed the fluffy one over her and sat down next to her. Not long after, the city medic made it to us. He started to check Isa over, making sure she didn't have any head trauma. Once it was confirmed that she was fine, he left the house and went on with his day.

After a couple hours, Isa finally started to regain consciousness. Her deep jade green eyes started to flutter open as she groaned softly. She rolled over onto her side, squinting up at me tiredly.

"Morning sleepy head~" I chuckled softly.

Isa muttered, "What happened?"

"You passed out while helping some citizens build," I sighed for a brief moment. "I can't say I told you so–"

She huffed, "Shut up. Don't act like you care..."

I felt myself beginning to get heated when she said that. My blood began to boil, not in anger but more in frustration. I decided to speak up once again, my tone being a little more stern than before.

"I'm not ACTING like I care! I actually do care because I LOVE YOU!" I exclaimed.

Isa bit her lower lip nervously, a very faint pink blush starting to creep over her cheeks. I immediately covered my mouth with my hand before turning away in embarrassment. She slowly sat up and scooted closer to me.

"What was that?" she asked, playing her petite hand on my shoulder.

I sighed and turned back to face her. "Isa, there's something I haven't told you..." I answered.
