Her Little Favor (Binta x M. Jesse)

(Binta's POV)
I was getting prepared for the annual Friends of Fred trivia competition. This had gone on since the anniversary of Fred's disappearance in order to honor how kind and friendly he was to everyone in the Keep. However, it was starting to get repetitive since every year there had only been one winner... Kent. The man somehow knew everything about him just from the books he read. Something told me that this year would be different...

As I was setting up, one of the other villagers rushed up to me. They frantically tapped on my shoulder to get my attention. I turned around to see it was Cam, and she looked sort of scared. I stopped what I was doing when she started to stammer nervously. I took a gentle hold of her shoulders, making her shut up immediately.

"Hey, hey, slow down. What happened?" I asked softly.

Cam took a deep breath before responding. "T-There's a group of strange people that came into town! The leader is asking around about Fred's journal and stuff!"

"Hm, let me talk to them," I said, humming slightly in wonder.

Cam nodded and quickly went off to get the newcomers. I put away my trivia answer key as the group started to approach me. I stepped down the stairs of Fred's old house before stopping in front of them. The group consisted of a male who looked to be around my age, a younger one looking to be around seventeen or eighteen, a young woman around my age, and shockingly, a llama? I shook off the shock of seeing these strange people and began to greet them.

"Hello newcomers! My name is Binta, and I am the leader of this small village."

The main male smiled. "Hello Binta, I'm Jesse," he introduced himself before motioning to the others. "These are Petra, Radar, and Lluna. We're here because we need to find something that Fred had to stop the Admin."

"Woah, woah, slow your roll there! I doubt whatever you're looking for is here! And if it were, it would be in Fred's cabin!" I exclaimed with wide eyes.

Jesse gave me a confused look, "Well, would you mind showing us where it is?"

"I-I can't! The only way you will be allowed an entrance into it is if you win a game of trivia happening this evening," I answered.

Jesse looked back at his friends, "Mind giving us some privacy?"

The three of them nodded before heading back off to the center of the town near the small bonfire. Jesse looked back at me, his gaze softening a bit.

"Look, I know this trivia is probably a part of your traditions, but we really need whatever is inside of that cabin. Is there anything I could offer that would allow us to bypass the trivia?" he asked.

I smirked softly when I got an idea, "Well, I could help you.. But, only if you let me have a night in bed with you~" I winked.

"I'll do it!" Jesse whispered.

I took a brief look around before handing him the trivia answer key. I told him not to let anyone see that he had it and to give it back ten minutes before the event. He agreed and we went our separate ways. Jesse had held up his end of the deal and brought the key back right on time. As expected, he won and I gave him the key to the cabin, whispering in his ear to leave the door unlocked. He nodded before heading inside.

Later on that night, I sneakily made my way to Fred's cabin. I walked in, shutting and locking the door behind me. I looked around the room which was only slightly illuminated by the moonlight shining through the windows. I finally spotted Jesse, who was still in the clothes he arrived in. He hadn't even touched the Fred pajamas. I walked closer to him, sitting down next to him.

"So...Are you ready to hold up your end of the deal?" I asked softly.

Jesse nodded with a smirk, "Oh trust me, I've been waiting all day for this~"
