(Hadrian's POV)
The last few months have been very stressful for Mevia and I. This world has been a pain in the neck to get used to, mostly due to the oversized chickens roaming around. On the plus side, we had plenty of food and resources from them. Despite the oversized chicken that seemed impossible to kill, everything seemed to be working out just fine.

Well, almost everything. Something has been a little off... with Mevia. She's grown more distant towards me since we got here. I get it, I was the main reason that we ended up here. And before you ask, yes, I regret what I did to her and the competitors. However, she's never been THIS distant with me before. Something seemed different about this distant behavior of hers. She didn't seem mad at me, because she would talk to me when she was hungry or felt lonely. If I knew what was bugging her, Maybe I could help her. I decided it would be best to ask her when we ate again.

Towards evening time, I had managed to kill one of the chickens and harvest their meat. Once I had it cooked up, I started to look around for Mevia. Just as I suspected, she was sitting at her usual spot above the cliff again. She had her legs dangling from the edge while staring down into the void below. Part of me was always worried she would jump off, but the other part convinced me she was smarter than that. I took the spot next to her before handing her the piece of chicken.

"You must be hungry. You skipped breakfast and lunch after all," I said.

Mevia sighed and pushed it away, "Because I'm not hungry... Haven't been today..."

"Is something wrong? Did I do something to upset you?" I asked.

Mevia muttered, "No, you didn't. I just have a lot on my mind..."

I sighed as I put the chicken back into my inventory. I scooted closer to her and wrapped my arms around her, pulling her into a gentle hug. She sighed and leaned into it after a couple moments. She wrapped her arms around my neck before nuzzling into my chest. I could feel her shaking slightly in my hold.

That's when it hit me, and I realized what was bothering Mevia. She was extremely homesick. I, of course, didn't blame her because our old home was really the only true home Mevia ever had. She had been kicked out of her foster home at a young age and met us when she was around 21 years old. It took her a while to adjust, but our living situation had made things easier for her. Now, she was getting back into the state of mind we found her in originally.

I ran my fingers through her pale cyan hair and said softly, "It's okay, Mevia. You'll adjust to our new home sooner or later..."

"I know, Hadrian..." she muttered.

I gently cupped her cheek and made her look up at me. Not realizing what I was doing, I leaned in and kissed her passionately. I felt her tense up as I pulled her close, making her sit in my lap. She slowly melted in, moaning softly and running her hand through my platinum hair.

After a couple moments, we pulled away from the kiss. Our faces were a bright red from the heat of our kiss and blushing. Mevia moved her hips slightly, rubbing against the bulge that had formed in my pants. This caused me to groan softly. She gave me a confused look and slid off my lap. She blushed madly when she saw it, causing me to chuckle softly.

"See something you like?~" I asked huskily.

To my surprise, Mevia averted her eyes from me. I sat up and gave her a confused look.

"I'm sorry! Did I offend you?" I asked worriedly.

Mevia took a deep breath and looked back up at me.

She shook her head, "N-No... You didn't!"

"Then what happened?" I continued to question.

She sighed, an embarrassed blush forming on her cheeks.
