It's now late at night, still bothered and fazed by the fact that I would see Riko perform again.

Should I talk to her if I get the chance? Even if I did decide to talk to her, I have no plan.

Should I plan on how to talk to her now? I don't want anyone's time and effort wasted here though.

Should I leave her be? But that would mean that my questions would be unanswered.

But is it even right for me to talk to her in the first place? Maybe she wouldn't even talk to me when the time comes.

All these thoughts are bugging my mind to the point that it's making my head explode. This is the moment I've been waiting for yet this is also the moment I've never wanted to happen. A moment I've dreamt of a lot but is also my one and only recurring nightmare.

"I- I should just sleep this through..." I said to myself as I fell asleep.

Why does time fly so fast when I need as much time as I can get? Soon enough I'm now here at Riko's recital finally going to see her once again.

"I guess it's the same as always but with no labels, huh? This is a tad bit awkward now that I'm thinking about it." I said to myself as I sat down.

A few minutes later, the contestants played their pieces one by one until they reached Riko.

She looks as beautiful as ever. The girl that I'm in love with is again right in front of my eyes after a time that was too long.

She started playing the first notes... She was as good as the last time I remembered- No, she's better this time. I could feel myself shaking in all kinds of emotions, some of the emotions are happiness, sadness, anger, confusion... Some more complicated emotions that I couldn't explain. I'm a melancholic mess right now and it's all because of the girl playing the piano in front of me.

I came here to relax yet at the same time I knew she'd be here. Am I really not that prepared to meet her again? Or is it just me forcing myself to just keep my feelings untold and kept inside a bottle? Why do you make it so hard for me, Riko?

And just like that, the piece ended. She played so elegantly as always and as always, I clapped to the most of my ability. She went off the stage and the next participants came to the stage but alas, no one caught my attention. But I might say, they're good but they aren't my ex or something for me to cheer for them. I'm biased, what can I say?

The results were announced and unsurprisingly, Riko won. My desire to talk to her has basically increased tenfold when she performed but looking at how she smiles now, I don't think interference would be to her liking.

"I'm happy I got to see you perform again..." I said softly and left the venue. Looks like we discover new things everyday. To more new discoveries, I guess?

I was walking to Otonokizaka as I saw a group of people staring at the entrance. I was confused about what they were staring at. I went near them and... Why is Riko here?

"So this is where Mu's used to study." A girl with orange hair said. Mu's Isn't that the school idol group here five years ago? What do that concern them though? Must be fans but why is Riko here? Oh wait... I think I've read between the lines now. Is Riko part of an idol group now?

"Hello? Forgive me for intruding but do you guys want to go inside Otonokizaka?" I asked them as the nine looked at me.

"N- No! It's fine..." A girl with gray hair said.

"Really? I'm Y/n L/n, a student council member. Meaning, you guys are already being invited by a student council member to go inside. You guys still don't want to? It would be a shame if you guys won't see where the ever popular idol group studied, right? Also, Sakurauchi-san, welcome back. So you're an idol now, huh?" I said.

"You know each other?" The orange-haired girl asked.

"Of course! We were former classmates after all. So what's your idlo group called and your names please." I responded.

"We're Aqours! I'm Chika Takami! Nice to meet you, L/n-san." The orange-haired girl said.

"Yousoro! You Watanabe!" The gray-haired girl said.

"I- I'm Ruby Kurosawa..." The girl with pigtails said shyly.

"I'm the fallen angel Yohane! Do you want to become my little demon?" I- Is this a chuunibyou?

"The girl before is Yoshiko Tsushima. I'm Hanamaru Kunikida zura!" This one has a dialect.

"Shiny~! I'm Mari Ohara!" Ohara... I've heard that surname before, is she from that rich family? She also looks like someone who is not Japanese, she has foreign blood, perhaps?

"Dia Kurosawa, student council president of Uranohoshi High School." Uranohoshi... Will search for that later. Also, Kurosawa? Is she and Ruby related? If they're sisters, why is one so cute and one feels like she could me with just a gaze?

"Were you scared of Dia? Hehe, Kanan Matsuura, nice to meet you, L/n-san." The girl with the long ponytail said, she must have read through my eyes.

"Riko Sakurauchi... Nice to meet you- again." Riko said... Well, this is awkward.

"Nice to meet you all! Let's go inside now, shall we?" I said as all of them nodded in agreement.

Mu's left no records of their accolades here in Otonokizaka but it looks like their impact on people still remains today. I'm not a big fan of them as I don't listen to idol music much but Nozomi-san would probably be my favorite among them. I gave them a tour around Otonokizaka until we got to the music room.

"This is the music room, where our very own Maki Nishikino plays the piano- Well, maybe it would be better today that your very own Riko Sakurauchi used to play here often. I always come here to find her playing the piano and it was always a great time." I said, letting off a smile.

"So you two we're pretty close back then?" Ohara-san asked, making me and Riko flinch.

"No, we're acquaintances at most." I said, looking at Riko who was... Saddened by what I said? Did I say something wrong? I'm sure it's wrong for me to say that we're exes.

We continued the tour for a few more minutes and I've also discovered that they're competing for Love Live! but alas time forbids me to continue talking to them as I still have a lot to do. I escorted them back outside as eight of them thanked and left but seemingly Riko left behind.

"Y/n, can we talk?" What?

"Your friends are waiting for you, Sakurauchi-san. Also, didn't you guys say you have a contest? You should really follow them and practice. Consistency is key." I said.

"But, Y/n... Are you just putting everything behind?" Riko said as tears started to fall down out of her eyes.

"No, Riko. You seem happier now and I'm not one to interfere. But if this makes you feel better I'd still catch a grenade for you. See you." I waved goodbye and went back inside Otonokizaka.
