"Ah, the blue skies of Numazu... It's my first time here. One may call it a new discovery. But enough of that, I'm here for school, ironically. I think I should call kaichou and tell her I'm here." I said to myself as I grabbed my phone and contacted her number.
"Hello? Kaichou? It's Y/n, I'm already here in Numazu." I asked her.
"Hmm? Enjoy your vacation then." Kaichou said, making me confused.
"What did you just say? Vacation? What about that conference?" I asked, nervous of what she'd say.
"You really do fall for tricks easily, huh? It was just an excuse so you'll go to Numazu. Don't worry about school. Chairman approved of this and is actually rooting for you two." Eh? What tomfoolery is this?
"I- I'll trust you on that then. But what am I gonna do here?" I asked.
"Y/n, did you realize why you fell for it so easily? It's because you were longing to go there in the first place. So I have three tasks for you: First, have fun. Second, make the most of it. Third, set the once lit candle of love ablaze and bright once again. I'm counting on you." Kaichou said as she abruptly ended the call.
"Goddamn she has a point. Anyways, a circle around town wouldn't hurt, I guess." I said to myself as I went to a bus and let it take me around the city. Eventually, it ended with me on the shoreline... No, it's not like I drowned. It's just that the sunset is quite mesmerizing to look at.
"The beach is always a great sight, don't you think so?" A voice said, a voice I've heard before but not familiar with. This isn't Riko, it's way off if it was her. I turned around and saw Takami-san.
"Hmmm... What a small world we live in, no?" I said as I chuckled.
"We do live in a small world, Y/n-san. Why are you here?" Takami-san asked.
"I'm here for a short vacation, Takami-san. I have other plans but I first need a place to stay." I said to her as her eyes widened, she must know a place.
"You can stay at our place, Y/n-san!" She said, making me flinch.
"I- I can't trouble your family, Takami-san." I said to her, of course it's wrong for me to just stay there.
"Huh? We have a ryokan, Y/n-san. You can stay there for the duration of your stay here." Takami-san clarified, making me sigh in relief.
"Alright, I'll take you up on that offer. Lead the way, Takami-san." I said as I started to walk with her.
"You can call me by my first name, Y/n-san."
"Chika? Fine, but no honorifics then."
"Sure, Y/n!"

Chika had provided me a room in their inn and actually made it so I'm free of charge. I tried to decline but since her mother insisted, who am I to resist? Tonight, I was supposed to sleep but Chika wanted to talk about something in her room. I obliged and sat down.
"Y/n, did you know that our school will be closing soon?" Chika suddenly said, surprising me.
"If I may say, this was what happened to Otonokizaka five years ago... But luckily, we had Mu's. It was said that Kosaka-san, Minami-san, and Sonoda-san were the ones who started the group. Ayase-san, the student council president at that time, however, did not want them to perform. But Mu's grew in popularity and in members and eventually Ayase-san joined them to save Otonokizaka." I explained.
"You did some research, huh, Y/n?" Chika said as she chuckled.
"Yeah... that's not the only thing I found out though. Tell me, Chika. This Aqours you are in now... This isn't the original, right?" I said to her, making her gasp.
"How did you know?" Chika asked.
"While doing my research about Love Live! I noticed the name Aqours. Later I found out that Ohara-san, Matsuura-san, and Dia-san were once idols with the same name. A pretty interesting story about an idol group, I may say." I said to her as I softly chuckled.
"Chika! I have something to ask." A voice said, the voice was a bit muffled as it came from outside.
"Wait a minute." Chika said as she opened her window and... Riko? Th- they're neighbors? No wonder Chika wanted me to stay here. It was her plan all along.
"Meet our customer, Riko-chan! Doesn't he look familiar?" Chika said as she laughed.
"Wasn't expecting to see you at this time of day, Sakurauchi-san..." I said as I looked down to the floor, feeling a bit uncomfortable.
"Y- Y/n?! What are you doing here?" Riko asked as I looked at her.
"Just on a little vacation, I guess... It's a bit complicated." I said as I chuckled.
"I see... Enjoy your stay here." Riko said as our sight locked on to each other. Her eyes, her glistening eyes, I miss it.
"I- I'm actually pretty exhausted because of the trip... I'm gonna go to sleep now. Goodnight Chika. G- Goodnight Riko. Sleep well." I said to them as I left Chika's room and made my way to my room.

~The next day~
"Are you sure it's fine for me to be in here, Chika? This is a girls high school..." I asked as she dragged me from the inn to Uranohoshi.
"Of course! No one would mind!" Chika said as we continued walking, with me getting all kinds of stares.
"Y- Yeah, I don't think that's the case..." I said to Chika as she stopped walking. She opened the door and the two of us entered.
"This is the club room! You can stay here for the rest of the day as we have classes!" Chika said as she immediately left, leaving me all alone.
Hmmm... Who knew I'd spend a day here in a girls high school? I know for sure I don't but hey this should be any male high schoolers dream, right?
"Huh, Y/n-san?! Why are you here?" A voice said as the club room door opened.
"Ruby-san? I'm on vacation and Chika invited me here." I said as I chuckled.
"I- I see... Well, I gotta go now. I just came here to grab my bag. Bye, Y/n-san!" Ruby nervously said as she left.
And now, the waiting game for this day to end has started.
