"Hello?" called the small voice of a young, innocent boy. "Hello? Is anyone there?"

Hello. Whispered a voice - or was it two - from out of the darkness.

The voices frightened the child for he didn't expect such a response. He looked around frantically, his chalky white bangs fluttering away from his face to reveal two lemon colored eyes. Terrified.

"Who are you? Where are you?"

We are here and everywhere, child. Came a soothing, feminine voice from the dark abyss.

Oh gods. Appeared another voice, a deep male's this time. She's speaking in tongues! Speak so the boy understands you Dragon!

Then if you know so much then tell him yourself!

I will! Now child, take a seat and calm down, we'll be here a while.

Levi sat up quickly in a cold sweat, throwing his covers away. He reached up and put his left hand over the same eye under his hair. He quickly turned to his right to face his mirror and sighed with relief. He turned slowly to sit up and take in the cold morning before Therabos chose to take over and start a mega headache.

Levi lived in a dark castle and it has been abandoned for many many years. Levi was forced by Therabos to rebuild it and was possessed by him when he would protest that his body hurt. Anyxia's quieter voice would scold Therabos for hurting the boy, to which he would ignore. Therabos was a cruel spirit, trapped inside Levi's consciousness along with Nyx, which was a horrible thing because the two constantly argued. Levi learned to muffle this background noise but it still drove him insane.

Levi slowly got out of his giant bed and went into a dark room with no windows to dress in warmer clothes than pajamas. He had on a white turtleneck, a pair of black pants held up with a brown belt, black riding boots, his sleeves were rolled up, and he threw on a red cloak rimmed with white fur held in place on his shoulders by two spaulders. He walked out to see himself in the tall mirror rimmed with gold in front of him.

"Your cape is crooked on your right shoulder." He said, it was Levi's voice but not quite. It was higher pitched and more calming.

"Thank you, Anyxia." He said, this time using his own voice, which was deeper than when Nyx used his voice.

"For the last time child, call me Nyx." She told him, annoyed.

"Hm...No."

Suddenly, he bursted out laughing. Except it wasn't Levi again but it wasn't Nyx either. This laugh was deep and came from his chest.

"Honestly Therabos, it wasn't even that amusing." She said, still annoyed.

"Oh but I'm incredibly bored and the two of you entertain me."

"Can you guys stop? My throat hurts like-" Levi stopped midsentence. As he walked through the blackstone hallways he noticed something sparkling in the snow. "What is that?" He mostly asked himself quietly.

"I have no idea but you should move those feet of yours and go check it out." Therabos intervened.

Levi briskly walked through the halls and down two flights of stairs before going out one of the backways. The snow wasn't too high today, it only made it up to just below Levi's knees, his black riding style boots protected him pretty well from the cold.

He bent down to pick up the item to find out it was actually two things: flint and steel. He turned to see a small cave. He turned to walk towards it finding obsidian in the shape of a doorway hidden away in the dark.

"What in the...?"

"Light a fire." Therabos said. It was more of a demand.

"What? Why?"

"Don't ask questions boy, just do it. Where do you think you're going?"

"Uh, to get firewood."

"You don't need that. Walk over to the obsidian structure, stand before it and light it."

"No, don't." Nyx came in.

"Quiet dragon!" Therabos shouted.

Levi did as Therabos said. As he struck the flint and steel together a single spark fell out of the many, landing on the black rock. The moment it hit a blanket of transparent, sparkling purple nearly exploded within the doorway. Levi stood before it in awe and mild shock.

"It's a portal." He whispered, the reflection sparkling in his yellow eye.

"Yes!" Exclaimed Therabos.
