One week. In one week Levi satisfied the spirits. If he did as they asked they promised to be quiet for a short amount of time and it was pure bliss. He had opened the portal to the Nether like Therabos had asked and started a new kingdom of humans. He went to find the two girls like Nyx asked.

Therabos never explained further but he was always more powerful and controlling so the poor kid had no choice but to obey him. Nyx said there were two girls who she just wanted to check up on. Levi had no clue how she knew them but they were clearly different. The two girls both had ears similar to his, he was told they would have glowing marks on their faces but the dwarf purple tree had a black mask on and the mushroom just had freckles but Nyx was sure it was them. There was no way the two were sisters, one had lavender hair and a rounder face, the other with red hair and a more oval face.

He could see how the red head was someone of value. She had good leadership skills, if she had a little training she could probably defeat an army herself with a much better sword. No, never mind, that's too kind, she could take down a fourth of an army herself. Willow on the other hand, he couldn't see how she was very important, she seemed too weak, she literally almost fell with that sword and it wasn't even that big. There was no way she was a good leader, she had her head up too high in the clouds and her sister seemed to take over everything else.

A knock at the door shook Levi from his thoughts. "What is it?" He asked, not bothering to sound kind or concerned.

"Your Highness-" Came a trembling voice.

"Majesty."

"Y-Yes, your Majesty. Marius Asfalis would like to speak with you." He said through the door.

"Really?" Levi said in a much higher pitched, amiable tone. "Is the boy not still grieving over the loss of his late mother?"

Then he chuckled darkly. "Impressive." Came his deeper tone. "Boy! Are you still there?" He demanded.

"Y-yes your M-majesty!"

"Tell him to meet me for dinner tonight in the dinning hall."

"Yes your Majesty!" Levi could hear the boy run quickly down the hall.

Why on earth would you want to meet that poor boy now? Levi could hear the gentle motherly voice of Anyxia speak in his mind.

Honestly Nyx, Came the deep, spiteful voice of Therabos. The boy asked for the king's presence. Is he to not show up to dinner with the former prince?

I don't think he should. That boy needs comfort and you and Leviathan are far from that.

"Nyx, please don't use my full name."

My apologies dear.

My ApOlOgIeS dEaR. Therabos mocked Nyx. Levi hated Therabos but that made him blow out air, which was close enough to a laugh.

You two are very rude.

You are just too kind and kindness is a weakness, how will the boy rule over a kingdom of humans if he is weak? To rule over a kingdom one needs to have the strength to control.

Therabos, please, you should hear yourself.

Woman please. I have more control over this body that imprisons us than you ever will. That should tell you something.

"Would you two stop bickering like an old married couple and help me write these papers?"

Be quiet boy. Therabos said. He was quiet for a moment while Levi flipped through the pages. Hmm, yep, you can just burn all that, it's useless and has no relevance to what our kingdom needs.

The papers were literally about trade. Levi was pretty sure that was essential in a snowy wasteland. Not to mention with thousands of new humans who got easily cold, how did they even survive the drastic temperatures of the Nether?

"Therabos, why did you want to let the humans out? Weren't they in there for a reason?"

No, the elves and endalin are ridiculous. Now stop asking me questions.

"Nyx?"

Hm? She responded.

"Why did you want to look for those girls?"

I couldn't tell you.

"I mean, you could."

Yeah Nyxie, why'd you want to take a trip for those girls? We both know from meeting them Levi here would never court them.

Don't call me that. I cannot tell you for their safety. That is all I will say.

So, what? They're endalins, are you therefore sworn to protect them? If that's the case you should be protecting Levi here. So you should leave.

Nyx was silent but if she had a face she would have given him a look that said "I'm 'bout tired of your shit." It wasn't long until dinner. Levi's body ached from the long trip but Therabos wouldn't let him sleep. Therabos was interested in why this Marius kid was so different, not to mention the mountains of paperwork that needed to be done.

For understanding of situations Levi had found the humans and welcomed them to his kingdom, Aspen. The humans had started building homes since most didn't have one already, half were pretty much igloos, the other half were actual log cabins that the families built using wood from the spruce forest to the North. After a few days Levi had left to find the girls like Nyx wanted. Surprisingly the castle and other homes were still standing when he got back.

Levi now walked down the hallway lit by torches on the walls. The only noise heard were his footsteps, Even the two voices were quiet. Pure bliss. He walked into the dining hall taking his place at one end of the long table. There was an abundance of food that looked absolutely delicious. Marius sat at the other end. He was far from happy, his eyes held no light and his dark black hair shadowed his face. He looked up at Levi with a spiteful look.

"What do you want from us, elf?"
