The groom Arjun stood on top of the mountain overlooking his village. Tears in his eyes and a alcohol bottle in the hand.
The silence was peaceful to him,just after few minutes he felt presence behind him. He knew the person. He knew that if he turns behind to look at her then everything will fall apart.
Arjun heard the sound of the anklets which was going far away from him. Infact he knew that he cannot help her with anything.
He sat on the rocks empting bottle after bottle. When the sun started to go down Arjun came down to his bike .He drove the bike in his drunken state .
Everyone in the village saw Arjun drunk driving felt sorrow for him. As everyone knew about his love story, Arjun and his girlfriend were the IT couple of the village.
When Arjun entered his house all of his relatives were shocked to see him like that because he has never showed this side of him to anyone.
Arjun's mother Krishna vani slapped him for how he behaved from morning. Arjun didn't say anything but he stumbled to his room and closed the door.
Arjun's father Ram Chandrashekhar broke the relatives stare and gossips, He knew and felt his sons sorrow but he just couldn't take sides as his wife blackmailed him with suicide.
Ram wanted his sister's daughter to be his son's bride but just because his sister's financial status was low Krishna vani broke her son's engagement.
Ram sighed deeply regretting for getting compiled by his wife. His sister meena rajendra broke her relationship with Ram.
Meena was in anger just because they were poor her brother's family broke the engagement. Ram left for his room with worry on his face for his son.
Meanwhile Krishna vani went to the new bride kirthi consoled her with love and sent her to Arjun's room . kirthi who didn't know the reason for her husband behaviour was not getting comfortable to stay with him in his room.
Kirthi released her breath when she saw her husband was deep sleep. She went to her suitcase which was near the cupboard to change out of her bridal dress which was heavy including her gold jewellery.
She came out of the bathroom with dress changed and freshened herself . She slept next to Arjun stiffly.
