The day of engagement everything was going smoothly, even Krishna vani puppets were in stand-by next to kitchen waiting for her signal to move forward.
Just as they were about to exchange the tambulam a young man came forward to stop the ongoing ritual. Arjun was pissed as he was just a plate away from making meera as his.
One of the guest asked the young man who is he and what is he doing. The young looked at the bride who sat in the middle of the stage with lust. He introduced himself as kiran, he met meera in college and both fell in love.
He said to everyone that meera is being forced to get married to her cousin. When he finished his story everyone present there laughed at him. The whole village knew about arjun's possessiveness towards merra.
Arjun had already kept bodyguards around meera in her college and they kept any man coming near meera. As the guest were laughing arjun's and meera's family had rage intheir eyes.
Arjun's followers took hold of kiran, they beat him black and blue. Kiran couldn't take all the beatings so he confessed that someone paid him to come here to break of the engagement.
Kiran was sent to police station, the guest made the ritual to go on. But Krishna vani wanted to break it off. Her plan A failed and she decided to take it herself.
Again when ram and rajendra came forward to exchange the tambulam krishnavani stoped them. Arjun was losing his patience but meera took his hand in hers to make him calm.
Arjun took a deep breadth and sat back in his place and turned towards his mother to see what she is going to do now. Krishnavani started to spew nonsense things towards meera.
Sanjeev was losing his control and he lost it when krishnavani called meera a two timing b***h. Sanjeev stood and went dangerously close to her which made krishnavani scared. Ram stood in between them and tried to cool of his friends temper.
Seeing ram coming to save krishnavani rajendra took a step back to calm himself. He turned towards meera pulled her towards himself. Arjun stood up along with meera, he stopped rajendra from taking meera away from his side.
Rajendra said that he is going to break this relationship and he is going to break his tie with ram's family for ever. Meera went to her father side when he called for her. Rajendra and his family left from the kalayana manddapam.
Arjun stood there heart broken watching his love leaving him with tear filled eyes. Arjun sat down, ram looked at his son breaking himself all because of his wife.
The guest were still there to see what was going to happen now. Krishnavani took this to her advantage as her maid started to give all false information to tge guest which was spreading like fire.
The older generation thought that the rumour is true and believed them but the younger generation knew that it was all false.
