( Back story about Krishna vani)

Krishna vani was kept dark regarding the relationship between Arjun and Meera until she overheard the gossips about them.

Krishna vani went to her loyal maid who works for her since childhood to collect information about new gossips going around the village.

The loyal maid delivered all the things which she was asked of. Krishna vani was quiet  dumbfounded as she was clear with the intention of bringing bride from the rich family. Krishna vani had her eyes and ears on Arjun and Meera.

She started to notice them alot. No one kew that Krishna vani knew about their relationship. She saw how her family members helped Meera and Arjun to meet separately and how they covered for her.

She even saw her husband of 29 years helped them too. Which kind of rubbed her in the wrong side. She kept quiet and saw what was happening, she wanted to see how long they are going to keep doing this things.

When Krishna vani heard about the fight happened during the inter school festivals, she was genuinely afraid for her son's obsession. From then she saw how her son was manipulating people or things for his convince.

As Arjun's love started to grow more and get possessive towards Meera, Krishna vani thought if this goes on then her dream about having a rich daughter in law will only remain in her dreams.

Even though she has was married  to the village head she was not satisfied with her husband's wealth. Actually Krishna vani's cousin ROOPA was   engaged to Ram.
Krishna vani was engaged to a local farmer.

Krishna vani wanted the wealth that her cousin was going to get, so she used her loyal servant to drug Ram a day before his wedding with roopa.

And her plan succeeded and it caused alot of problems where the house was filled with relatives who came for the wedding. The solution they came up was getting Ram marry Krishna vani.

Ram really thought that he has raped Krishna vani in the influence of alcohol so he was filled with guilt. That's why Ram never opposed Krishna vani.

Later days roopa was married to district collector of their region, even at the time of roopa's wedding Krishna vani was jealous as she married the village head and roopa married the collector.

So the greed in Krishna vani never died when she got the first child Arjun she thought that if Arjun marries a rich girl then she'll get more gold and money.

And when meera was born Rajendra family were more rich compared to her family. As Rajendra family were industrialists. And when Meera's family  broke in two her dream to have those money broke.

So she decided she will search for her daughter in law who could fill her hands with gold. She silently called the marriage broker to find alliance. The condition she put was that the girl should be the only girl child. And they should be rich, they should be give varadhakshana ( dowry given to the groom)  cash around 50 lakhs, gold jewellery around 200 savaran ( around 2 kg of gold), all the kitchen items, with car, bike, and any other things.
