Krishna vani has sent alliance for her son which caused uproar in the village, as the people knew about the unofficial engagement between Arjun and Meera. Ram didn't know about this until one of the girls parents went directly to meet him for the demand Krishna vani has kept for the bride's family.
Ram confronted Krishna vani but was quickly shut down when Krishna vani brought up the rape scene from past, Ram had his guilt resurfaced which made him shut up.
Arjun tried to bring sense to his mother but the greed of luxury has made Krishna vani's eyes go blind. Every weekend there will someone coming for payana pakarathu ( bride side of family coming to see groom).
Which was becoming headache for Arjun and the village people started to taunt Meera. Arjun tried to shield Meera from the gossips emerging within the village, but he was not successful. Meera became new hot news for the villagers.
Meera's bubbly character became someone who is very careful of what she does, she became silent and nerd. This caused Rajendra's family to morph into a silent family.
Arjun was getting tierd of the alliance coming every other day to see him, so he hatched a plan to make his route clear. The village festival was coming closer, as being village head's son he knew the date,days,and timing of the festival.
He was the one to schedule the programs according to the temple pooja timing. While scheduling the programs he came across the drama program. When the stage performance happens the whole village will be present there, he smirked mischievously.
For the festival Arjun made sure to take Meera for shopping infront of the villagers so that he can show off his love for Meera. During the festival time Arjun made sure to be closer to Meera all the time.
When her the big mouth ladies (the person who spreads the gossips) together he made sure to be very close to Meera. He also kept physical contact with Meera all the time such as holding hands, keeping his hand on Meera's shoulder, or on Meera's back. Once by mistake he kept his hand on Meera's waist which was exposed because she was wearing half saree.
The villagers who saw Arjun's hand on the waist were pointing out them, some even took photos of them. The person who saw that made sure that other villages also know about them in short their photos became viral in the village.
The villagers saw that Arjun and Meera have colour combined their dress together. Matching matching attire in colour. Arjun was unaware that his hands were on her waist it just felt right for him to hold Meera so close.
Meera too didn't feel any discomfort with Arjun infact she was pleased, Arjun always kept atleast a feet distance between them but now his closeness made her feel giddy. Meera knew that Arjun's hand had slipped to her waist unintended but she didn't say anything to Arjun. She just kept enjoying and living the moment.
