Kirthi sat behind large tree where she was hidden from anyone seeing her. She remembered all execuses they gave for Arjun's absence for the rituals.

When the bride visiting time Arjun didn't appear they said that he has gone out of state for work. When he was absent on their engagement day they said that he has gone to the hospital as his best friend got into accident.

When pre wedding rituals started they said he has gone out of country for emergency. All of this things happen in span of a month. They all rushed their marriage ,so they fixed the marriage date within week of engagement happened.

Kirthi always had crush on Arjun, she was in the same school as him. She was 6 year younger than him. Kirthi liked his manner and respect towards others. He didn't see if they were younger or older than him, he saw everyone as same.

Arjun never had a girlfriend nor he dated anyone. Many women of any age came to him with the hope of becoming his love, but he always rejected them.

Kirthi left to Australia for her further studies. She stayed there for a decade, when she returned she did not have hope of getting married to her first love.

But to her luck Arjun's parents were searching for a suitable bride for their son. So kirthi requested her parents to fix her with Arjun.

Kirthi never spoke to Arjun,she was just a silent admirer.kirthi had high hopes in this marriage , she had dreamt about many things. But just like everyone says all of the dreams don't come true.

A noise behind her broke her from her trance. She heard the workers of the house gossiping about her and her marriage.  They felt sorrow towards her husband and his lover .

They've always been rooting for Arjun and Meera's marriage . They also spoke about Arjun and Meera's broken engagement,which brought kirthi anger.

Kirthi went towards the workers to confront them. Kirthi asked them infact begged them to tell the truth. But the workers said that they were asked to keep quiet about that matter.

If the workers tried to tell kirthi anything about Arjun's past then they will be fired. So the workers suggest that kirthi to speak with Arjun's little sister Jannu.

Kirthi decided that she will everything that has happened to her husband. So she went towards her sister in law room.

Jannu was speaking with her finance about what was happening in the house. Jannu heard a knock on the door, she turned to see her brother's new wife who Jannu hated with her heart. If not for kirthi's parents sending the samandham(alliance for marriage) then Jannu and her finance Vignesh would have convinced her mother Krishna vani  to accept Meera back for her brother.

Jannu showed finger as a sign to give her a minute to finish her call. After speaking with Vignesh Jannu truned towards kirthi to ask her what she wants.
