*3 Days after the incident with Lance*
"KATIE SLOW DOWN!" I hear Daniel yell out and I shake my head as I walk towards the dungeon
"He's right you know that?" I heard Kaley say and I roll my eyes.
"I'm gonna talk to him and I rather do it before Daniel gets there. Cause him and Lance will start screaming at each other." I say and enter the dungeon.
"Oh look our "queen" Katie." Lance says and I sigh.
"What the hell is your problem?" I hiss and stand in front of the bars.
"My problem is that, thanks to you my whole family hates me and you ruined my chance at being king." He says getting up.
"Um no, you did that yourself by being a fucking asshole to everyone that has ever helped you! You betray people!" I say and cross my arms.
"I never betrayed you!" He says standing by the bars.
"YOU USED ME SO YOU COULD BECOME KING!" I yell and he frowns before reaching and gripping my arm.
"I never used you.." He says sadly.
"Really? Cause you even said you did! I fucking loved you Lance!" I say and back away from him into a chest.
"You actually loved him?" I hear Daniel say and I look up at him. He backs away with a look of hurt and anger.
"Daniel.." I say softly.
"No, Katie you actually fucking loved him? I'm your fucking mate!" He exclaims and I laugh.
"You were attacking me! Your brother showed me love. What the hell else would happen?" I ask and shake my head.
"I don't know but that fact that you loved him just sickens me." He says then walks away. I sigh and leave to find Kaley.
"Kat.." I raise my hand and she stops.
"Take me home please." I say softly and she nods. I grab her hand and close my eyes. The noise of the castle disappears and is replaced by the chatter of hunters. I open my eyes and smile. "Thanks Kay." I say and she nods before disappearing.
"Katie?" Carter says and I shake my head before going to my office and shutting the door.
"Why are you back? I thought you were staying with Daniel?" I hear Keith ask and I sigh.
"He's mad, I don't really know.." I say softly and sit in my chair, pulling up surveillance videos and then I look at Keith. "Anything on Matt?" I ask and he nods.
"He was spotted by the perimeter the day Lance tried to kill me." He says and I sigh.
"Did he come on the territory?" I ask and Keith shakes his head.
"He stayed just at the border. He never set foot on the territory." Keith says and I roll my eyes.
"Of course he didn't." I say and get up. "Show me where he was at." I say and Keith nods. After a short walk we stop.
"This is where the patrol saw him." He says and I look around. My eyes widen and I turn towards the meadow in the distance.
"Keith extra guards over there." I say softly pointing towards the meadow.
"Mom's grave? Why?" Keith asks and I nod.
"I don't really know but I don't wanna take chances." I mumble and he nods.
"Alright sis, I'll put more guards over there." He says softly. I nod and walk back inside the base.
"KATIE!" Carter yells and I turn around.
"Woah what is it Carter?" I ask as he stops in front of me.
"W..wa..war.." He stumbles.
"What? What war?" I ask confused.
"War with the vampires.." He says and my eyes widen. I turn on my heel and start walking to my office.
"War with the vampires, but we have a truce bound by me and Daniel. We can't be at war with them. It's..."
"Katie calm down." Carter butted in.
"It's impossible, he wouldn't do that. Everything was alright, everything was going so good. What happened for him to start war on us." I huff and slam open my office door, to see Daniel sitting in my chair. "WAR?! YOU'RE CALLING WAR? WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK DANIEL!" I yell at him and he stands up.
"Ms Lile from here on out there will no longer be a truce between us. I have called war due to the fact you and your wolves have gone to far and it will not be tolerated." Daniel says looking down at me.
"Pardon me? Gone to far? What the hell are you talking about Daniel?" I ask as Kaley pops in.
"Oh good, Katie, Carter, go grab Keith and let's go. Somethings not right with the vampires." She says and I nod. Carter takes off to find Keith and Kay grabs my hand. "Lance did something to Daniel, he's got mom and dad locked in their room." She says as Carter comes back with Keith.
"Let's blow this popsicle stand!" Keith yells and Kaley teleports out of there. We appear in a small cottage.
"Where are we Kay?" I ask and she smiles.
"My cabin, I have it incase of emergencies. So like now, we have a place to hide." She says and I sigh.
"Why can't shit ever go normally." I mumble.
