My Vampire King

WHAT?!

"So now what?" I ask Kaley as I sit on the couch.

"Well in all honesty Katie, I don't really know. I need to get back to the castle though..I need to get to my parents and who knows what Daniel is up to.." She says before disappearing.

"Okay Keith, I need you to survey the area. She could've been followed. Carter, I need you to..." I trail off as a creature screeches in the distance.

"That's Alura's screech..." Keith says and Carter looks at him in shock. "Okay look it's not shocking, you're bound to a damn vampire bro."
Keith says and rolls his eyes and Carter scoffs and crosses his arms.

"Okay fair enough..but a fucking siren?" Carter yells. Keith puts his hands up in defense and just shrugged.

"Dude it's destiny, I don't question the bond." Keith says and thingies peek through the curtains in the kitchen. "If she can sense me nearby that means we are by water." He says and I nod.

"So thats how y'all contact? Through water! Oh that's so cute!" I say and smile then frown. "Y'all got bound to such good people. What the fuck happed to me." I mumble.

"Oh Katie it'll be okay. I promise, remember Kaley said that Lance did something." Keith says but then smiles at me. "So would yall like to meet her?" He asks and goes to the back door.

"Um hell yeah I would!" I say and follow him out the back door. I follow him through the woods towards a small lake. He kneels by the edge of the lake and places his hand on top of the water. I sit and watch as a watery hand appears and then wrap around his.

"Hello my love... it's been a while." Alura says as she appears in the middle of the lake. Keith looks up and smile.

"Hello my dear, I'm sorry that it's been awhile." He says softly and I look over at him and notice how his features softened and he's relaxed.

"Wow...you must really love her Keith.." I say and her head snaps towards me.

"Well who's this cutie Keith?" She asks and I look towards her. "Yes you cutie." She says pointing to me.

"I'm his sister Katie." I say and she walks towards us.

"Sister....oh you're the one whose bound to Daniel Night." She says and her smile drops. "I don't know what you did but there is a war raging on everyone." She spat.

"Wait Alura, everyone? I thought it was between hunters and vampires." Keith says and she shakes her head.

"No it everyone, Wolves, Sirens, Vampires, Banshees, and Hunters. While we're on this subject the Vampires and Banshees are in alliance, obviously the Sirens stand by you." She says and nods to me.

"The Hunters stand by you as well Alura.." I get cut off as Kaley reappears.

"Hey uh, so the vampires have divided, The half that's choose to side with the Hunters due the fact you are their queen are at the cottage. Also..Why the hell is she here?" Kaley mumbled and nodded towards Alura.

"Keith's soulmate. She's with us as well." I say and Kaley shrugs. Then looks at her and gives a toothy grin.

"Well since we're both standing with the Hunters then we'll put our differences aside then?" Kaley says and Alura laughs.

"Yeah no, I'll be civil but I still don't like you bat." She says and disappears into the water. Kaley stands there shocked and huff.

"Rude bitch." She mumbles then looks at Keith. "Congrats, you're one lucky lad...now let's get back." She says and grabs our hands before teleporting us back to the cottage.

"Jesus christ that's never gonna get old." I mumble as we appear in the cottage and lean against the wall.

"Big baby.." Carter mumbles and I throw my shoe at him.

"Shut up dogboy." I say and hear a few chuckles. Carter mumbles to himself for a minute then looks at me and throws the shoe back. "Yeah that's what I thought." I laugh and go to put my shoe back on as Carter tackles me. He pins me down and twist my arm back.

"Give up little sis, you could never survive a minute of this." He says and chuckles. I go to tap when Keith pulls him off me and ducks slightly.

"Guys quiet, I know the vamps can smell it at well." Keith says and Carter sniffs the air.

"Night.." Carter hisses and I look at him panicked.

"Which one?" I whisper to Keith and he looks at me and his eyes told me. "Daniel.." I whisper and Kaley looks straight at me and shakes her head. I cover my mouth and crawl under the table next to me. Keith and Carter crawl in next to me and the vampires spread out covering us from view.

"So this is where you've run to Kay? Where is she!" He yells and kicks the door open. He walks in and I felt energy surge through me. I close my eyes breathe out.

{"Kat are you there?" I ask into the darkness

"Yes Katie I'm here, what's wrong?" She asks and steps into sight.

"I just need a spell or something to hide me and my brothers please." I ask and she nods.

"Of course Katie, that's what I'm here for. To protect you from becoming..." She trails off and my eyes open.

I look around for a minute then look at Carter. "So uh what happened?" I ask and Carter looks at me dumbfounded.

"Dude you're kidding me.. I don't know how the fuck you did it sis but he straight up looked under our table and said nothing like we weren't even there!" Keith explains and Carter just nods still dumbfounded.

"Well I talked to Kat so I guess she took over and helped." I say softly and shrug. Kaley notices my uncomfortable stance and coughs.

"While he's away let's get ready to get the fuck out of here." She says and we all grab our stuff before Kaley grabs my hand and teleporting us out of the cottage.
