Daniel's P.O.V
"KATIE!" Kaley screams and the door burst open.
"No.." I run over to her and snap the chain before picking her up.
"Daniel you need to mark her! Or she'll become marked with Matt's." Keith says and I look down at her, tears in my eyes.
"Forgive me my love.." I say and bite into her neck. Her body tenses up and I pull away. I watch her eyes open slightly and sigh in relief.
"Daniel?" She says softly and I hold her closer to me.
"Shhh baby it's okay, I'm here.." I say softly and she smiles softly.
"It hurts, everything hurts.." She whines and I nod softly while walking out of the den.
"I know, it'll be over soon I promise." I say and teleport back to the castle. I lay her on the bed and Keith sits next to her.
"Go find Lance, he needs to pay.." He says and I nod before walking out and going to my father.
"Lance, where is he?" I ask and my dad looks at me confused.
"Why do you...." I cut him off and sigh.
"He helped Matt take Katie!'' I say and my dad growls.
"We'll find him and when we do I'll kill him.." He says and I shake my head.
"No dear father I'll kill him for harming my mate." I growl and walk out. I walk back to my room and look at Katie sleeping peacefully. I sighs and lay next to her.
"Mhm, Daniel.. Lance was in here... he said he'd be back.." She says and her body starts shaking. I pull her closer and kiss her head.
"I wont let him harm you love, I'm here and you're safe.." I whisper to her and she nods and turns to face me. I look at her neck and smile slightly, I run my finger over my mark and she shivers.
"I'm sorry...I tried to stop him but he marked me anyways.." She says and tears come to her eyes.
"Baby shh, it's okay I'm looking at my mark.." I say and she looks up at me.
"Y..your mark? You marked me?!" She says surprised but the happiness in her eyes made me smile.
"I mean I had to but the true marking process will have to wait." I say and she looks at me confused before her eyes widen and she blushes. I chuckle and pull her closer to me. She hides her head in my chest and the next thing I know her light breathing is letting me know shes asleep. I yawn and kiss her head before going to sleep.
Katie's P.O.V
I awake the next morning with a major headache and I slowly open my eyes, I look around and see Keith asleep in a chair. I groan and sit up. "Good morning Queen.." I quickly hop out of bed and whimper slightly, my body aching in pain.
"No stay the hell away from me!" I yell at Lance and he chuckles.
"You aren't special, and man I didnt know how much silver affects wolves." He says and I look over to Keith, my eyes watering.
"DANIEL!" I yell and suddenly Daniel appears and growls at his brother.
"You're fucking dead, then when I kill you, I'll find Matt and kill him too." Daniel says and lunges for his brother. I run to Keith and close my eyes.
*"Kat I need your help." I say softly and she appears.
"What the hell happened?" She asks and looks me over.
"Long story short, Matt tried to claim us, Daniel saved us. I need you help healing Keith!" I say and and she walks over taking over.*
My hair turns white as I place my hand over Keith's forehead and I start to heal him. "Come on.. please Keith.." I say softly and close my eyes focusing all my energy and power into healing him. He starts coughing and I pull away. "Keith?" I ask softly and he looks up at me.
"Oh Katie thank god! Lance..." He gets cut off.
"Is taken care of.." Daniel says and nods to Lance's unconscious body on the floor. I sigh softly as my hair goes back to it's normal color. I start swaying and Daniel catches me as I fall.
"Healing Keith took to much, Katie you need to rest." Carter says walking into the room, Kaley following behind him. Daniel lays me on the bed and holds me close to him.
"I just...I just need a nap.." I say softly and lay my head on Daniels chest. I close my eyes and Daniel strokes my hair.
"We'll let you guys be.." Kaley say and Carter helps Keith up and they leave. Daniel kiss my head and I drift off to sleep.
