Monster!

I look at Daniel as he growls in warning. I head to my door and slowly open it. "Sir we can't hold him back!" Someone yells and my door is thrown open.

"Hello princess." He growls.

"Matt." I say and cross my arms.

"Who the fuck is that?" He growls looking at Daniel.

"My mate." I say proudly and I watch Daniel smile.

"You're a hunter and have a vampire mate. Fate must hate you." He says and I roll my eyes.

"Why are you here Matt?" I ask and he smirks.

"Couldn't let my love bug, become a Queen without a King." He says and I hear Daniel growl.

"Keith!" I yell and Matt glares at me.

"Yeah Kat...You son of a bitch." He growls and punches Matt. Matt stumbles and growls.

"ENOUGH!" I heard my dad yell and they stop. "Matt get the fuck out! I told you that you aren't welcome here anymore." He then looks at Daniel. "Thank you for saving her Daniel." He says and smiles before pulling Daniel aside. I watch them and turn around to see Matt staring at me.

"I'd watch yourself Matt, I have four people who won't hesitate to beat your ass." I say and he growls.

"You'll be mine love bug." He says and walks away. I shiver and my dad places a hand on my shoulder.

"He won't touch you darling. Actually while he's in town, I think you should stay with Daniel." He says and my eyes widen.

"Really? Dad are you sure? I don't wanna leave you here with Matt here." I say and he hugs me and pulls away as we hear screaming.

"Yes, now go." He says and runs from my room. I sigh and I feel Daniel wrap his arms around me. I close my eyes has he teleports me to the castle.

"I can't believe him! This is my battle not his." I say and lean against Daniels wall.

"Katie it's alright, your dad knows what he is doing okay?" Daniel says and I shake my head. I push off the wall and walk out of Daniels room.

"Katie what are you doing here?" I hear Kaley ask and I smile.

"Can you teleport me back to my room?" She nods and grabs my hand. I close my eyes as she teleport me back to my room and I sigh. "Thanks girly."

"No problem." She says and vanishes. I look at the guards in my room.

"He knew you wouldn't listen." They say and I laugh.

"He was right." I say and leave my room. I head down the corridor.

"Katie!" I hear Keith yell and I run over towards him.

"What the hell has happened? Why is it so quiet?"

"Matt has dad pinned down in his office, none of us can't get close." He says and I run to dad's office.

"Matt!" I yell and watch him turn around. "Let my dad go." I say

"Why sweetheart? So you can attack me as soon as I do?" He says and holds the gun tighter against his head.

"Matt please... he's the only parent I have left." I say and Matt looks at me shocked.

"Where's your mother? Last time I was here, she was baking us cookies."

"She died." My dad says. "We were in a battle with a master vampire and his poison was to much for her." He says and Matt let's go of him. He walks towards me but Matt shoots the gun.

"Dad!" I yell and run forward catching him. "Keith! Carter!" I yell and watch Matt run off. "MONSTER!" I yell as they come running into the room and look down at me.

"Katie..."

"Matt shot him, he killed him.." I say and grab his hand. "Dad..." I say and watch a his eyes lose their color. I lay him down softly as I feel a powerful arua flow through me.

"Bow to the queen!" I hear a guard say and they bow.

"Guys now's not the time!" Keith snaps and they immediately stand up. "Take his body to mom's." He says and they nod. I hold up my hand and take his ring and pendant before nodding. The men walk out of sight and I break into tears.

"Find Matt." I snap and the boys growl.

"He's one of us, you have no legal.."

"I do too. He has killed a hunter on our ground with no valid reason." I snap and the boys sigh.

"She's right Carter. He did kill dad without a valid reason." Keith says then looks at me. "I'll find him Katie." He says and runs off

"For not wanting to be queen, you sure know a lot."

"I studied most of the rules and lessons because I knew I would need it." I say and he nods before following Keith. I rip the pendant off the chain and head to my room. I grab the choker my mom wore and fix the pendant onto it. I head back to my dad's office and look around.

"Queen Katie?" I turn around and look at the guards.

"Yes?"

"Matt has escaped but he left a note for you." They say and hand it to me.

Our time was short and wasted. If you're reading this you are now a queen. I will be back love, and I'll have an army.

I throw the note away and sigh. "Keep watch 24/7, he will not get back in alive." I say and walk away.
