Chaper 3~ The Library

Y/N RIDDLE POV:

Fuck why did I say yes.

"What did you say your name was" Harry asks. I try to hide my 'damn it' face but it doesn't really work.

"I go by Y/n" I smile looking up at him, he returns the smile. He's so nice, and kind of cute but I can't be making friends with the enemy.

"That's a beautiful name, I'm Harry Potter," He says while I softly chuckle.

"I think everyone in the entire wizarding world knows who you are Harry." I look at him and he looks at me smiling but my face has a different expression. Its almost like I feel bad, he's had such a terrible life because of what my dad did. So I do the unthinkable, I hug him; and he hugs back.

Apparently Harry and I were in the library for three hours talking about nonsense. Best three hours of my life, we just laughed and had fun then he walked me back to my room while we had a conversation about if 'Every flavor beans' or 'Chocolate frogs' were better. I said the beans obviously, they are so mysterious.

I got ready for bed, throwing on some sweatpants and a sweatshirt. As soon as I flop onto the bed I hear a knock on the door. While groaning out of frustration I walk over to the door opening it. No ones there, I look down and there is a box of 'Every flavor beans', laughing to myself I see initials on the bottom.

I spent all night trying to figure out who D.M. was. I finally dozed off for a few hours before having to wake up again. Stretching my entire body as I start to wake up more. Getting up, getting changed into some black sweats and a white button up, along with my robe and tie.

DRACO MALFOY POV LAST NIGHT:

I'm in the library minding my own business as I hear her laugh, I follow the laughter and see Riddle and Potter hanging out. I was resisting the urge to just smack potter in the bloody face.

That girl is mine.

I slam my fists on my desk out of frustration.

WHO THE HELL IS D.M.?

I put my books in my bag after not paying attention in class at all. I'm more worried about who D.M. is, it's not Harry and he's the only one I told. Someone must have followed us and I'm going to find out who.

Going to the library is the best option right now. It's calm, quiet, and lonely; but I hardly doubt that I'm going to get peace and quiet. As soon as I step into the library I see Cedric, he's studying herbology. I walk up to him and place my books where he's sitting. He smiles while looking up from his book.

"Hello Y/n," he says still smiling.

"Cedric, I have a question for you."

Maybe he knows who D.M. is.

"Hit me." he states back.

"Do you know anyone whose initials are D.M.?" I ask while sitting down in the chair across from him.

"Hmm, I think that the only one that I know would be Draco Malfoy." he says after being silent for thirty seconds. I quickly jump up from my seat out of pure anger.

"I have to go, I'll talk to you later." I say before I take off running to the Slytherin common rooms. After running for 5 minutes I got there.

"Pureblood." I state trying to go as fast as I can. After the wall shifts open I speed walk in trying to find Malfoy.

"MALFOY!" I scream, the entire castle could probably hear it. I didn't care I just want to punch him, he's always in my business. That's when I see a platinum blonde boy running from the boys dormitory. Rushing over to him, I push him into a wall pinning him with my wand to his neck.

"When will you stop being in my business." I see him smirk and I dig my wand more into his neck.

"Never." At this point I'm fuming so what is the best idea? Punching him, I punched him square in the nose letting down my wand as I do so. I see him cover his face, while smirking I say.

"Stay out of my damn business." I walk out and realize everyone saw.

Shit. So much for not having attention on me.

I'm in the great hall for dinner, I can see everyone's heads look at someone walking in. It's Malfoy, he has bruises on his face and a bandage on his nose.

"Did you do that?" I hear a handsome Cedric Diggory say. I smirk and nod slowly, still looking down at my food.

The rest of dinner Cedric and I just talked, he asked to hang out tomorrow and of course I said yes. My crush asked me to hang with him why would I say no? After he asked me he said he needed to go somewhere, I nodded him along as he said goodbye to his other friends.

DRACO MALFOY POV:

I'm walking into the great hall and see everyone's eyes on me.

I find myself looking at the Hufflepuff table, she's laughing and blushing with Cedric Diggory. For some reason that made my blood boil. It's probably just because she punched me in the face.

Right?

Hello, I'm very tired since I started this chapter last night and woke up and decide to immediately. Also when I was writing this my Mom called and now half of my family has Covid. Fun.
