Chapter 15~ Dad

Y/N RIDDLE POV:

I look at the sink and see it too. Shit I'm about to see my dads younger self.

"Guys say something in Parseltounge." Ron says. Harry and I look at each other. We both say open in Parseltounge and the chamber opens. We look down to see blackness. It's a pit.

"Well it looks like you don't need me anymore, Good day." Lockhart speaks trying to walk away but I grab him.

"Your not going anywhere, you first. Better you than us." I say pushing him down after. We hear him yell and then thump at the bottom.

"It's really quite filthy down here." We hear him say. All three of us jump in one by one and reach the bottom.

"Remember, any sign of movement close your eyes and don't open them. Well except you Lockhart." I say smirking at Lockhart and walking away. We all walk through the chamber and see a huge snake skin.

"Bloody hell, whatever shed this must be 60 feet long... or more." Ron states and I see Lockhart pass out.

"Heart of a lion, this one" Ron says and Lockhart jumps up and snatches Ron's wand.

"The adventure ends here kids, but don't fret. The world will know our story. How I was to late to save the girl, how you three tragically lost your minds at the sight of her mangled body. So... you first Mrs. Riddle. Say goodbye to your memories. OBLIVIATE." Lockhart says but his spell hits him instead and knocks him against the wall. The chamber starts shaking and crumbling, soon rocks fell splitting the group up. Harry and I on one side, Lockhart and Ron on the other.

"Harry, Y/n!" I hear Ron shout.

"Ron are you okay!?" Harry asks.

"Yeah." I hear Ron say. I hear Lockhart have a conversation with Ron about who he is and who Ron is.

"Lockhart's memory charm backfired, he has no clue who he is!" I hear Ron shout.

"This is a odd place. Do you live here?" I hear Lockhart ask Ron, which who answers with a simple no and then I hear Ron knock Lockhart out with a rock. I chuckle.

"What do I do now!?" I hear Ron ask Harry.

"You stay here and remove some rocks so we can get through. We'll go on and find Ginny." Harry responds. I hear Ron say okay and then me and Harry were off. We were off to find my father.

After we went through a door that only Parseltounges can open, we found the main area of the chamber. It looked magnificent, a bit run down but still cool looking. I saw Ginny in the distance and both me and Harry go running for her.

"Please wake up Ginny, don't be dead." Harry says trying to wake her.

"She won't wake" I hear a voice, my head snaps in that direction.

My dad.

He looks handsome as his young self, what happened. I try to grab my wand but I realize it's on the floor next to him.

"She's on the edge of dying, your lucky you made it in time." Tom says picking up me and Harry's wands.

"It was Ginny Weasley who opened the Chamber of Secrets, she sent the basilisk on the Mudbloods and Filch's cat, she wrote the messages in the walls. I told her to. You'll find that I can be very persuasive. She didn't know what she was doing however, like she was in a trance. She still got scared of the diary though, she tried to dispose of it in the girls bathroom. And then, you found it, the very person I was anxious to meet." Tom explains to Harry like I'm not even there.

"And why did you want to meet me?" Harry asks.

This dumbass.

"I had to talk to you, meet you if I could. So I showed you the memory to gain your trust." Tom said.

"Hagrids our friend, and you framed him didn't you." Harry says staring Tom right in the eyes.

"It was my word against his. Only Dumbledore thought he was innocent. After that he kept a close watch on me so I hid my sixteen year old self in the diary so one day I would lead another." Tom says smirkingly.

"Well soon all the muggleborns will be alright again and not petrified." Harry says.

This is getting boring.

"My new target is you Harry." Tom says.

"Hey uh young dad or whatever I should call you. Can we get a move on." I say trying to be noticed.

"Ah yes my sweet daughter thank you for ruining my evil plan." He says pissed off.

"You're the one that made it obvious, Tom" I say walking up to him.

"If you didn't spoil the big surprise of me being Voldemort this would've ran much smoother." Tom says to me.

"If you weren't such a fool maybe-" I get cut off by a Phoenix flying in with the sorting hat. The bird drops the hat in Harry's hands and as Harry is looking at it I see my dad walk over to the wall and speak parseltounge.

The basilisk.

I grab Harry and start running with the basilisk following. Harry falls. The Phoenix takes this moment to blind the basilisk. We start running through the pipes and come to a dead end. We come face to face with the basilisk, I throw a rock to lead it the other way. Harry and I run back to the main area once the snake is out of our sight. Harry runs to Ginny and holds her.

"She's almost dead, and I'm growing stronger. Soon enough Lord Voldemort will come back very much alive" Tom says to Harry. I see a sword appear in the sorting hat and I run to grab it. The basilisk pops out of the water as I grab the sword. Harry and I start climbing the wall trying to escape the basilisk. I start swinging the sword as the basilisk gets closer and the basilisk tries to attack but keeps missing. I climb on top of the head with Harry following. After a few swings of the sword I fall. The sword is about to fall but I catch it and stab the basilisk right in the mouth. One of its fangs digging in my arm.

"Ha, my own daughter about to die because of my basilisk. Pathetic." Tom says looking at me as I walk towards him pulling the tooth out of my arm. I grab the diary.

"If I go, you go with me." I say as I stab the diary with the fang. I hear my dad groan in pain as I stab it again. Looking over at him I see him glowing green, disappearing. I stab it once more and he's gone. I flop down and see the Phoenix flyover me. I feel it's tears sink into my skin and the pain goes away. I see Ginny wake up and then, I pass out.

I wake up in the hospital wing. I look around and see no one. I get up and walk out, I feel fine. I walk to the great hall and see everyone's heads turn to me. The next thing I knew Harry, Hermione, and Ron were all hugging me and Draco was watching from afar. He looked relieved almost. I sat down and had a great dinner.

I was getting on the train with the trio and I see Draco walk by, I give him a small smile goodbye and he gives one back.

"I'm sorry did I miss something, Malfoy just smiled at you!" Hermione says.

"Shove off. Harry are we doing the same thing like last summer?" I ask. Harry nods in response.

I can't wait for third year.

The chamber of secrets is done!!! I feel relieved it's not one of my favorites but I pushed through. Next year will be easy for me I think. Anyways have a nice day!!
