Now this chapter kind of contains a little bit of heavy topics. Not too heavy topics but I don't want anyone saying that I should have put a warning.

Author's POV

A brand new day! Ok, not as exciting as I make it sound. But still, a brand new day for Joon. He was right now in a mock trial. It's basically an educational practical that is based on trials that have happened in the past. It is intended to give the feel of how actual trials work. Its goal is to give an experience to law students like Namjoon and help them give a better understanding.

Anyways, so he was in the audience stand, watching his fellow classmates participate in the mock trial. Mostly the smartest kids were chosen as prosecutors, attorneys, judges and more. I mean they also tried their hardest to impress the professor, so they can actually be involved in the practical.

Namjoon looked at them with boredom in his eyes. He was too tired to listen to the mess that they were talking about. So he decided to shift to his auto-pilot mode, aka zone out and think about whatever the hell wanted to. His memory brought him back to the weekend nights. The nights that he spent with his new friend. A total of 3 nights actually.

All of them were extremely fun. It's been extremely long since he has felt so happy with someone in real life other than his k-drama characters. Even to Namjoon, it was surprising. Compared to all the living friends he had, he had never gotten this close to them in just three days. And then there comes a friendly ghost that almost becomes his BFF in a short period of time.

For some reason, it felt nice. Having someone to talk to felt nice. On the second day, he didn't expect the ghost to come but he did. Then they talked just like that. On the evening of Sunday, he was scared that he would have to stay up late to talk to his friend but no, the ghost cared more about him. He came to him right after he was done with dinner. He said-, I mean, wrote that he didn't want Namjoon to be up until late because he had to wake up in the morning.

The two talked about a lot of random things. A lot of people said that ghosts are scary, ghosts are evil, this and that. But the one he met, he was even kinder than humans, well...at a first impression. Namjoon didn't know what he was like in his spare time. Maybe he is a ghost that kills people in their sleep and pretends as if nothing happened later on. Or maybe, he is actually clean.

Namjoon zoned back in and started taking a few notes for some points that the prosecutor mentioned. He was writing until he started feeling slightly cold. He looked behind him just to check if the air cond was directly pointing at him, but no.

He didn't think much about it, he just wore a hoodie and continued writing. Thought he might have...thought about his friend...just a little bit. A very little bit. But he quickly quit the thought because it wasn't possible. From what he has heard, ghosts usually appear during the night and his friend only comes to his house during that time. So there is no way it was him.
