Author's POV
Jin and Namjoon parted from the hug and looked at each other with a smile beaming out of their faces. "Let's go, shall we," Jin said. Namjoon nodded and followed the younger. Namjoon looked around himself and noticed that he wasn't in the arms of nature anymore. It was way more than that.
They stopped in front of what looked like a huge hologramic gate with robots on guard in front of it. They were all extremely tall and pretty much the way we imagine robots to be. "Welcome, Sir! I suppose that you just died. Can you tell me how you died and your name, or if you are not comfortable then please just tell me your name and birthday?" A robot asked Namjoon with a grinning emoji on its face screen.
Namjoon was extremely surprised. Was this actually the ghost world that he imagined and thought about? Jin was just staring at the robots with a casual expression, he was used to all of this. "Bruh, are you sure we are in the ghost world and not in like the future of humanity or something?" Namjoon whispered in Jin's ear but still kept his eyes on the robot that spoke to him. "This IS the ghost world, just trust me on that one," Jin whispered back childishly.
"No way..." Namjoon's eyes were fully wide. "Sir?" The robot spoke again. Namjoon cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck with nervousness. "Oh umm...well-" Before Namjoon could say anything Jin cut him off. "He's alive," Jin said with an unamused face. The robot's face turned into a surprised emoji.
"Oh...really? I didn't know that was possible! Congratulations on making it through The Gate of Afterlife!" The robot smiled again. "Oh t-thank you!" "Though, you will still have to go to the registration centre to confirm and register yourself. I am sure this gentle sir will be able to guide you." The robot pointed at Jin. "But even if you get lost, just ask a bot, helper, or angel to help you. The help centre is also always at your service, sir. Now can I at least know your name?"
Namjoon was confused about going to the registration centre part. There was such in this world? And there were angels in the ghost world? Aren't they usually in Heaven? "It's K-Kim Namjoon" Namjoon gave a slight smile. The robots opened up the doors and let them enter. Just then, Namjoon let out a huge gasp.
This world was more than extraordinary and unique. It was as if the power of imagination came to life and gave its blessings to this world. The surroundings were filled with floating towers and buildings. The trees were unrealistically big, like as big as the Empire State Building! Just above the buildings and trees there were floating cliffs and bushes, vines were falling off them, they were in the sky. Floating cars filled up right above and below them. In the sky, there were 4 moons and huge twinkling stars hanging like chandeliers.
The sky looked so much like a galaxy, even better actually. In the distance Namjoon could see a magical palace-looking place, it was huge. And just right next to that thing he saw a blue dragon flying around it elegantly. Namjoon's mouth was wide open. He looked down and saw that they were walking on the pathway of flowers, though the flowers didn't get ruined or mused as they walked, they just stayed in their original states.
