Sky's POV..




I did kiss her..



What did I do?



Gaaaahdd.



Here I am again..



I really can't even sleep. I'm just staring at the ceiling of my room and thinking what am I going to do next? Or what will happen if I see her again? I don't know if she's upset or mad at me. But.. She kissed me back.. I'm pretty sure about that. Is the feeling mutual?

Today's the first shoot for the menu. I was about to fetch her at the lobby when she texted me that she have to drop first at Printing Memories to get the cameras and other things needed for the shoot, so I went to SHA by myself. When I arrived at the kitchen, everyone's busy doing the mise en place.



"Good morning Chef Sky!" They greeted me with a smile on their faces.



"Good morning Chefs!"



"Mark, how's the appetizer?"



"Sir the appetizer is almost done, no we're going to start the soup."



"Okay good."



I went to my office and checked our old menus and the current one, also the fliers. I fished my phone from my pocket to check if someone texted me, there's a message from Sunny,



'Master Sky! I'm on my way na. 10 more minutes.'



I replied, 'you take care abnormal Sunny the Genie.'



"Sir Sunny's here." Mark said as he gets all the old menus and fliers from my table.



This is it.. How am I going to face her after what happened last night? I checked myself from the mirror and I got this huge eye bags.


"Mark, do you know how to get rid of this?"



"What sir?"



"Eye bags."



"Naku Sir, mahirap po talagang alisin yan, si Autumn nga kung ano ano ng ginagawa para lang maalis yung eye bags nya wala pa rin. Bakit Sir hindi po kayo nakatulog ng maayos kagabi?"



"Yes, there's a lot of things running through my mind, I even counted cows and cats, drank a liter of milk, but I can't sleep."



"Baka in love na kayo sir." He joked.



"Maybe." I was shocked from the words that came to my mouth, I glanced at Mark and I saw Him smiling like an idiot.



"Masyado kayong transparent Sir. Nasa baba na po ang pag ibig nyo. Tara na po."



"What's with the pag ibig word? Tssss."



We went downstairs and I saw Sunny arranging the lights.



"Hey." I greeted her, but I can't even look at her eyes this time.



"Hi.."



It's very awkward this time.. What the heck.. I just watching her arranging the lights and the table for the shoot.



"Did you ate breakfast na?"



"I'll eat na lang later. I just want to finish this earlier, I need to edit the pictures so that I can show it to you tomorrow."


"I'm not rushing those pictures, I'm willing to wait."



"This is my requirement for graduation right? Remember?"



"Ahh. Yeah. I almost forgot. If you need something just call me, I'll be right there." I pointed out the next chair to us.



"You're going to watch me take photos?"



"Yep. Is there a problem?"



"Wala." She said as she grabbed her Canon Camera and set it on the tripod in front of her.



The shoot started, appetizers to dessert were done according to mark, and as of today the second floor of the SHA were closed for the shoot and some of my sous chefs including Mark is here to help them to arrange the plating if she asked to. I just watched her during the shoot. And now she only talk to Mark while the other sous chef follow her orders. And she's ignoring me all the time. -___-



"Mark, isa pa nga, paki ayos sa side na to."



"Dito ba?"



"Yes. Konting ikot pa. Di kasi maayos yung ilaw."



"Yung ilaw sa right side?"



"Sa left."



Every time she took a photo she'll look behind her, and I think she's checking if I'm still there at the back, I knew it, she feels awkward. I tapped Mark's shoulders, "Mark, I'll just go to the kitchen, please help Sunny here." I whispered



"Okay Sir."



As I went downstairs I heard Sunny, "Mark, anong sabi ni Sky?"



"Sa kitchen lang daw muna sya, may aasikasuhin yata."



"Okay. Let's continue guys! Please help me."



She became livelier when I'm not there. I know that it's really awkward that we are pretending that nothing happened last night. I went to the kitchen and prepare some french toast and milk for her because she said she haven't eaten breakfast yet, I sat on the next apartment 8, beside where the shoot is on going, and I can hear them here, I asked one of my servers to bring the toast and milk for Sunny.



"Ma'am Sunny,breakfast daw po muna kayo." I asked Tate Reyes, one of my servers to deliver it to Sunny.



"Ay thank you ha? Guys 20 minutes break muna tayo." She sounded very tired. I think they're on the first main course.



"Mark ikaw di ka kakain?"



"Ah hindi na, kumain na kami kanina sa kitchen, how's the french toast?"



"Masarap syempre, bakit wala to sa menu nyo?" Whoa. She liked it right?



"Hindi ko rin alam kung bakit, madalas kasi yan ang niluluto ni Chef Sky pag breakfast. Minsan umay na." So that's it Mark. Tssss.



"Nakaka umay ba to? Parang hindi naman. I can eat this every day pa nga." Haaaay Sunny, I can make you French toast every day if you like it.



"Talaga Sunny? Wag kayong mag alala pag naging boyfriend nyo na si Chef Sky, lahat ng pagkain na gusto nyo makakain nyo na po except nga lang sa pastries."



"He doesn't know how to bake?"



"Medyo lang. Pagdating kasi sa cake decorating medyo hindi pa sya ganun kagaling. Kahit nga yung favorite nyang flavor ng cake hindi nya magawa ng maayos. Ang alam ko kasi nag papaturo sya kay Miss Summer sa cakes."



"Ah si Summer.." I heard Sunny saying Summer's name and it sounded a little bit sad. Mark You're dead later. I texted him and I his phone beep, 'I can hear you. Don't you dare say anything that will make Sunny upset.'



"Mark? Bakit? Bakit bigla kang namutla?"



"Ha? Ano medyo natunawan na yata ako. Baba muna ako. Okay lang ba?"



"Ah sige, kaya ko na dito. Medyo ilang din kasi ako pag maraming nanonood sa shoot."



Mark passed at my side when I grabbed his arm. "Sky!"



"Shhhh.. Keep quiet."



"Anong ginawa nyo dito?"



"Listening?" I said sarcastically.



"Bakit di ka manood sa shoot?"



"It feels awkward. She feels awkward too when I'm around. That's it."



"Kasi naman Sky, english kayo ng english, kahit mga empleyado nyo awkward din sa inyo pag kinakausap nyo sa sila kasi english nga, minsan parang gustong lumabas ng dugo namin sa ilong kasi hindi kayo nagtatagalog."



"Really? Hindi ko alam yan. Do you think I should speak tagalog starting from today?"



"Yes and yes." I looked up and saw Sunny standing in front of me with her arms in her hips.



"Sunny.. Genie..."



"Narinig ko lahat. Ang lakas nyong mag chismisan. Where's your office?"



"My office? Why?"



"Mag uusap tayo... ng tagalog." She grabbed my hand and then allowed her to drag me to my office as if she's the boss here.



"Sky Harris Andrews."



"That's my full name."



"Let's fix things first."



"Okay."



"First, do you really know how to speak tagalog? I mean straight tagalog?"



"Yes."



"Then mag uusap tayo ng tagalog. And please lang No english please. Dahil gusto ng sumabog ng ear drums ko sa kaka english mo. Gets mo?"



"Okay. I'll speak tagalog from now on."



"Tatanungin kita, diretsuhin mo ang sagot ha?"



"Okay."



"Bakit ka nasa kabilang apartment?"



"Honestly.. I felt.."



"Tagalog. Tagalog dapat diba?"



"Okay, eto na nga.. Nararamdaman ko kasi na awkward yung situation natin, dahil sa nangyari last night."



"Last night marami lang siguro tayong nainom kagabi kaya siguro nangyari yun, kalimutan na natin yun, at isa pa normal lang sa States yun diba? Galing tayo parehas sa States kaya walang dapat ika- awkward dun."



"Then ako naman magtatanong?"



"Ano yun?"



"What's with your eye bags today?"



"Eh kasi naman hindi ako nakatulog ng maayos kagabi dahil dun, ikaw kasi halik ka ng halik ng bigla bigla. Hindi ko alam kung anong dapat gawin kanina, pero naisip ko na lang bigla na medyo naka inom tayo kaya ganun, hindi ako makapag concentrate sa ginagawa ko kanina kasi nag fa flashback! Nakakainis ka alam mo ba yun? Ayoko sanang mag shoot ngayon kasi hindi ko alam kung paano ako mag rereact pagdating sayo."



"I'm really sorry, if I made you upset because I kissed you, if bibigyan ako ng chance to undo that night that I kissed you, I won't undo it because I'm still going to kiss you."



"What? Ano bang sinasabi mo?"



"Sunny, I think I like you."



She paused for a while, at sa palagay ko, hindi pa nag poprocess sa utak nya ang sinabi ko.



"Should I repeat it? Sunny Hershel I think I like"



"Sky! Ano ba!? Wag ka ngang mag joke ng ganyan! Alam mo naman na masyadong magulo ang buhay ko ngayon makikisali ka pa?!"



"Then let me help you fix those things."



"Pwede ba? Wag ka nga basta basta magsasalita na gusto mo ako, nalilito ka lang, nag momove on ka pa diba? Nandun ka pa lang sa point na akala mo gusto mo ako kasi madalas tayong magkasama, kung ano man yang nararamdaman mo wala yan. Mauna na ako, tapusin ko na yung shoot para matapos na. Stress ka lang, kaya kung ano ano ng nasasabi mo."




She closed the door and I was rooted where I was standing. Tama ba sya? I'm just confused with my feelings? Na baka namimis interpret ko lang ang sarili ko na gusto ko sya kasi sa ngayon sya ang nakakasama ko?



The first shoot ended, she didn't even look at me when we said our goodbyes. She just texted me that she'll email the pictures after nya ma edit so that I can approve it. After that day, we haven't talk again. I tried calling her but she's declining my phone calls.



After the shoot day, the next day I received a text from Jessie, she want us to meet at her bar. Mark said that it's time. And I was like. What time?



Sunny's POV...


My gaaahhhddd talaga tong si Sky!! Nakakabwisit, alam naman nyang magulo ang buhay ko guguluhin pa nya lalo? Oo hinalikan ko sya pero yung sasabihin nyang like nya ako? Hello 3 months pa lang kaming magkakakilala, halos bwisitin nya ako dahil sa master-genie nyang pakulo. Bakit nya kasi ako hinalikan? Okay na kami diba? Maayos na yung relationship namin as friends tapos biglang like nya daw ako? Ayos ah.



"Bessie kumalma ka nga dyan! Like lang naman daw diba?"



"Oo nga Jessie, pero alam mo yun, bakit naman bigla biglang ganun? Alam mo naman na dinaig ko pa yung buhok ni Miss De Leon sa sobrang gulo. Lalo na ngayon bumalik na si Greg."



"Why don't you just accept na gusto ka ni Sky, simple as that, he likes you."



"Hindi pwede, at ayoko. Diba nga ayoko na sa mga lalaki."



"Then why are you going to talk to Greg later?"



"To clear things up."



"Hay naku bessie siguraduhin mo lang na clear things up lang talaga. Ilang beses ka na bang nasaktan at nagpakatanga sa gagong lalaking yun? Halos paiyakin ka nun simula nung nawala sya, nung isang araw iiyak iyak ka sakin na bakit sya bumalik dito at nagpakita ulit sayo, diba galit na galit ka sa kanya, tapos ano ngayon? Konting suyo nya lang papayag ka ng mag usap ulit kayo? Bukas Bessie may parada ng mga tanga, sa unahan ka ha?"



"Maka-tanga ka naman bessie wagas ah! Mag uusap lang kami para may closure. Hindi yung habang buhay akong magmumukmok at magiisip kung bakit nya ako iniwan."



"Hay naku sana nga lang sa gagawin mong yan, hindi ka masaktan sa kung anong sasabihin nya. Uupakan ko na talaga yung gagong yun pag nakita kong pina iyak ka ulit."



"Bessie naman, hindi naman kami magbabalikan. Mag uusap lang diba?"



"Hay naku Sunny Hershel kilalang kilala na kita pagdating kay Greg, hindi na ako magtataka kung magkabalikan kayo. Sayang naman ang kagwapuhan ni Sky, Magnum na ang nasa harap mo dirty ice cream pa ang pipiliin mo."



"Wala akong sinabing magbabalikan kami ni Greg bessie. Please? Supportahan mo na lang ako this time okay?"



"Naka ilang this time ka na ba sakin ha? Hindi porket mag best friends tayo lagi akong nasa side mo, last na talaga to with Greg."



"Thank you Bessie!!! I love you!!"



"Ewwww ka talaga!! Wag ka ngang manghalik sa cheeks, nagkaka- indirect kiss kayo ni Mark."



"Bruha ka talaga!! Luma- love life na ang best friend ko."



"Aba oo naman! Akala mo ikaw lang, this time ako na ang aariba!"

Jessie's POV....



Alam ko wala ako sa lugar na sabihin kay Sky ang lahat ng tungkol kay Sunny, pero sa palagay ko this is the right time, since involved na rin sya sa sitwasyon ni Greg at Sunny. Andito kami sa VIP room kung saan nagpakalasing si Sky noon after Summer's wedding. Mark is with us.



"Sky, nalaman ko ng gusto mo si Sunny, according to her sinabi mo na you like her."



"Oo, sinabi ko yun."



"Wait. Am I hearing you speaking tagalog?"



"Hunny, it's a deal between Sky and Sunny." Pagsingit ni Mark.



"So, confirmed na you like her."



"Is there something wrong ba na like ko sya?"



"Ganito kasi yun Sky, naiintindihan ko ang sitwasyon nyong dalawa, nagmomove on ka sa past love mo at ganun din sya, nasa iisang bangka lang yung sitwasyon nyo, siguro naka move on na nga sya kasi six months na yata silang hindi nagkikita, sa palagay ko kasi you're still moving on from the past."



"Jessie, I'm better now. In fact nung last time na nagkita kami ni Summer, okay na ako. She's happy and I'm happy with that. Yung feelings ko sa kanya? That's in past, and that will remain there. Pero yung kay Sunny, it's the present, alam ko you're thinking na naka move on na ako dahil nandyan si Sunny, na sya yung naging way para makalimot ako. I respect that, and believe me, wala sa plano ko ang ma-fall sa bestfriend mo."



"Now that's the big problem Sky."



"I know, but I'm ready to face the consequences. And besides pakiramdam ko na Sunny likes me too, so there's a possibility na closure lang talaga ang kailangan nya this time."



"Sky, ganito kasi yun. I'm not in the place to say this to you but I think I have to, for you to understand her more."



"What is it?"



"It happened exactly three years ago."

Sky's POV...



"Where's Red?" I asked Blue. I'm at the fort strip, Red asked me to come.



"Uy Sky! Pare kamusta na?"



"Okay naman, nandito ba si Red?"



"Si kuya? Bakit ko hinahanap ang karibal mo noon?"



"You're funny Blue." I said sarcastically.



"Nasa condo yun Sky, kaka alis lang. Ang tagal mo daw kasi."

"Sky, buti nakarating ka."



"May problema ba?" I asked.



"Bago yan ah. Tagalog."



"Is Summer here?"



"Wala sya dito, nasa bahay kasama ni Anne."



"So what's my agenda here?"



"I'm going to ask favor from you. I need you to cook a spaghetti and meat balls now."



"Marunong ka naman magluto Red, why asking me?"



"It's because of Summer."


"Why?"



"Naglilihi. Alam mo ba halos bilihin ko na lahat ng spaghetti and meatballs sa buong Pilipinas pero hindi daw yun ang gusto nya, maamoy pa lang nya ayaw na nya, or makita pa lang nya yung texture nung pagkain ayaw na. Halos mabaliw na ako kung saan maghahanap nung pagkain na mga gusto nya, yung iba kung kelan naman hindi season ng prutas tyaka na hahanapin."



"Ohhh. That's why you look so stressed right now."



"Halata na ba?"



"Medyo. So I'm going to start cooking. Dito ba ako magluluto?" Nagstart na akong mag slice ng sibuyas. Red helped me to prepare the mise en place.



"Yeah. Teka, isang kilo ang lulutuin mo?"



"Yeah. It's her favorite food. I'm sure alam mo yun right?"



"Oo naman, pero Sky noon yun, ngayon sobrang dami na. Alam mo bang naglihi sya sa sa ice cream?"



"So what ice cream did you buy?"



"Lahat. Lahat ng makita nila mommy sa grocery binili na."



"Then what happened?"



"Ayaw nya. Sila Blue, tinatawanan ako ngayon, dati kasi ako yung tumatawa sa kanila, kulang na lang kasi umiyak sila sa harap ko sa sobrang stress sa paghahanap ng mga exotic foods."



"Ice cream? Did you buy here favorite ice cream from Hagen Dazs?"



"Hindi yun pumasa sa kanya that time. Kung ano yung wala yun ang gusto nya, halos paki usapan ko yung owner ng isang jollibee restaurant para ibigay sakin yung recipe ng ice cream nila."


"You can always buy an ice cream sa Jollibee, no need to ask for the recipe."



"Ang problema kasi 3 years ago ng wala sa menu nila yung ice cream na yun. That time handa na kaming magbayad ng milyon para lang sa recipe na yun, in the end pumayag na sila, konsensyahin ba daw nila mama na ipapakulong pag nagkaproblema si Summer. Haaaaaayyyy."



"So how's Summer today?"



"Ayun nasa bahay. Naghahanap ng spaghetti nya, sana eto na yun. Ang weird nyang magbuntis. Alam mo bang tuwang tuwa sa kulog? One time isinama ako sa labas kasi kumukulog. Akala ko matatamaan kami ng kidlat, Jusko po gusto ko pang makita ang magiging anak ko. May mga oras din na pag nakakakita sya ng rainbow pipicturan nya nag 100 times. Hindi naman ako nag asawa ng alien diba?"



"Maybe it's one of their nature when it comes to pregnancy. I'm sure your dad feels the same way. Isn't too exciting for both of you?"



"Excited na akong makita ang anak ko, sana matapos na tong paglilihi nya. Mababaliw na yata ako sa paghahanap ng mga gusto nya."



"Basta don't give up on her okay."



"Of course. You know what, hindi ko naisip na isang araw we're going to do this."



"You're right. You asking a favor from me."



"Wag ka mag alala Sky, alam kong in love ka, at handa akong tulungan ka kung sino man sya. Wait sino nga ba ang lucky girl?"



"Pwedeng mag joke? Asawa mo sana."



"What?"



"Joke lang, I think you know her."



"Spill it... Oh wait. Cloud's calling me."



While Red's on the phone, Nilagay ko na sa tupperwares yung pasta, and waited for him to finish.



"Sky, may sobra pa daw? Humihingi kasi si Cloud."



"Meron pa naman."



"Tara? Let's meet Cloud at his unit." We went to the elevator and pressed the 21st button.



"Cloud! Here!" Red shouted and Cloud looked at me.



"Uy pare!" Then we high fived.



"Here's the pasta." Then I handed the paper bag to him.



"Thanks Sky. Oh ano Red siguro naman yan na yung pasta na hinahanap ng MM mo."



"Sana nga. Paalis ka na ba?"



"Hindi pa. May kasama ako sa loob. Bigay ko sa kanya tong pasta. Nangangayayat na kasi."



"Who? Heaven?" I asked.



"May babae yan si Cloud. Wag kang maingay Sky." Red whispered.



"Oy Red! Wag ka ngang maingay. Pasok muna kayo sa loob, gusto nyo?"



"Do you mind if I use your bathroom. I'm just going to pee." I said.




"Sura. Tara! Red ano na naman kayang susunod na paglilihihan ni Summer? Hahahahaha! Kulang na lang lumipad ka na sa Mars nung isang linggo."



We entered at Cloud's penthouse and I used their bathroom. I saw some lipsticks and a woman's cloth on the towel rack. I wonder if it's Heaven or his girl? Is Cloud really cheating on Heaven? And now I'm curious who's that girl.



"Red, Cloud I need to go. Tawagan mo na lang ako if approve kay Summer yung pasta."



"Sigee. Thanks bro."



I closed the door and walked in the hallway, and then suddenly my phone beeped. It's a text from Mark, 'Sir nasend na po ni Miss Sunny yung pictures sa email nyo.' I was on the middle of texting when a girl passes at my side. And I was shocked..



"Genie?!" I shouted. She didn't look back.



"Sunny Hershel!!" I shouted again. And this time she looked back with a surprised face.



She ran to the elevator, "Wait!" I said, but the doors already closed.



What the hell did I just saw? Sunny's a mistress now?

Hindi ako dumiretso sa office, sa bar ni Jessie ako pumunta, I texted Mark that I'm not going today and I'm at Jessie's bar. He replied and said he'll come after his shift.



"Jessie.. Where's Jessie?" I asked the bartender.



"Sir Sky, may meeting lang po saglit. Drinks sir?"



"Same as usual."



"Okay sir Jack Daniels on the rocks."



I went to the VIP room to relax and think. Everything in my head was a mess. What did I just saw and discover? So tatlo kaming may gusto kay Sunny? Ako, si Greg, and Cloud? What the hell? A flashback came through my mind, it was Summer and Red's Wedding when I first saw the two of them together hiding behind the walls. Is that the reason why she did not answer me straightly that time and made an excuse? Aaaahahhh. Ang sakit ng ulo ko.



Someone entered the room and it's Sunny. We we're both surprised.



"Genie.."



"Sorry, akala ko andito si Jessie. Sige alis na ako."



"Wait. Can we talk?"



"About what?"



"About you. Me."



"Us?" She sat down and put her bag on top of the table and sit on the chair nearest to mine.



"I'm really sorry about that day. I know I messed up things."



"Okay lang yun. Medyo magulo lang tayo ngayon."



"How are you?"



"I'm better now."



"Good."



"We talked already."



"Nino?" I asked.



"Ni Greg. Kagabi nag usap na kami."



"So nakuha mo na yung closure na hinihintay mo?"



"Sort of, sabi nya, he'll try to fix things for us daw even if it takes the rest of his life."



"Pumayag ka?"



"Everybody deserves a second chance right?" She smiled at me.



Bullshit. Ang sakit. </3



"What? Pumayag kang magpaloko ulit sa gagong yun? After all what he did? He still deserve that second chance from you? Sunny naman gumising ka nga!" I shouted.



Flashback...



'3 years ago.. Everything was according to their plan, simbahan, yung mga bulaklak, yung restaurant for the reception, from the gown to the shoes. Planado na lahat every small detail. 1 year silang nagplano for the wedding. Nakilala ni Sunny si Greg nun sa university kung saan kami nag aaral, that time cast away pa si Sunny, no one dared to talk to her, until one day naging seat mates kaming tatlo. Weeks, months and years passed nadevelop yung feelings nila sa isa't isa. Ako yung unang naging saksi kung paano sila nagmahalan nun, they're a perfect couple, but fate wasn't on their side that time because her parents disapproved her relationship with Greg, sinuway ni Sunny ang mga magulang nya hanggang sa itinakwil nila sya, I was there nung pinalayas sya sa bahay nila and Greg too, nung mga panahon na yun tumira si Sunny sa condo ni Greg, naging masaya pa rin sila kahit ayaw ng mga magulang nya kay Greg. Pero habang tumatagal nag iiba yung pag trato ni Greg kay Sunny, madalas mainitin ang ulo nya, sya kasi ang nagtatrabaho sa kanilang dalawa, while si Sunny part time lang kasi may pasok pa sya. Then after one day they decided to get married. So bilang kaibigan nila masaya ako. Hindi ganun kabongga ang preparations pero sabi ni Sunny, okay lang atleast nandun kami, sabi ng parents nya hindi daw sila aattend. Walang choice silang dalawa kundi irespeto ang magulang ni Sunny. That was March 26, 20xx. Everything was perfect, the aisle, the set up, and she was supposed to be the happiest lady that day until she received a text from Greg that he's not coming, after that hindi na nagpakita si Greg sa kahit sino, walang sinabi kung bakit sya umalis, kung bakit hindi sya sumipot sa kasal nila. That's why nung nagkita kayo ni Sunny sobrang matapang yan sa mga lalaki, naging slight man hater dahil sa trauma na ginawa ni Greg.'




"Sinong nagsabi sayo ng past ko?!"



"Bessie, ako. Sorry." Jessie and Mark entered the room.



"Bessie naman! Bakit mo naman sinabi pa yun sa kanya? Ano bang kinalaman nya dito?"



"Bessie, he still deserve to know the truth and the past."



"Why are you still going back to Greg? Sunny iniwan ka nya sa altar! Magpapaloko ka na naman ba sa gagong yun?"



"Wag mo syang tatawaging gago, dahil kahit naging gago sya noon mahal ko sya!"



Mahal ko sya, tangna.



Mahal pa rin nya si Greg, Tangna talaga.



"Guys, lalabas muna kami." Jessie and Mark.



"So you still love him. How about me?"



"Ikaw? Continue your life, and I'll continue mine."
