Huh? Sweater?



"For what?" Tanong ko.



"You're going home right? It's cold outside." Tapos pinakita nya sakin yung phone nya, 3am na pala?



Wait. Hindi nya alam na sa 10th floor lang ako nakatira?



Hmmmm...




"Uh okay! Thanks!"



Umalis na ako at bumaba sa unit ko.



Naligo at nagpalit ng damit.



4am ng matapos ako. Inakyat ko ulit ang master masteran ko,



Para icheck kung 'okay' lang sya.



Sabi kasi ng magaling kong best friend, 'silipin mo lang kung okay sya, tapos pag oo umalis ka na ulit'


Ako naman tong si loka sinunod na naman ang payo nya, tutal naman sisilipin lang diba?



Pumasok na ako ng unit nya at chineck sya sa kwarto nya, nakita kong nakahiga sya, mukhang okay na. Isasara ko na yung pinto ng nagsalita sya..



"Plsaemdmajdkdmccmc"



Lumapit ako sa kanya. Hindi ko kasi naintindihan.



"Ano? Wag mo kainin yung sinasabi mo."



"AC.. Turn it off." Tiningnan ko yung AC, nakapatay naman.



"It's already off. Are you alright?"



"Yeah. Thanks. I'm just going to drink some water."



"Let me get it for you."



Bigla nyaa kong hinawakan sa braso. "No, I can do it."



Napatingin naman ako sa braso ko na hawak nya, teka bakit ang init nya?!



"You're burning! Nilalagnat ka?!!!!"



"I guess so?" Tapos nag smile sya.



"Autistic ka talaga! Nilalagnat ka na nga ngingiti ngiti ka pa dyan, dyan ka lang ako na kukuha ng tu--"



Niyakap nya ako.



Niyakap nya ako ng mahigpit.



"Hoy, anong problema mo?"



"Just.. Just stay here.. Please."



"Hin.. Hindi naman ako aalis, kukuha lang ako ng tubig."



Agad naman nyang inalis yung pagkakayakap nya sakin.



"I'm sorry."



Ngumiti na lang ako at lumabas ng kwarto nya, napahawak naman ako sa may puso ko at pinakiramdaman yun, normal naman. Normal. Normal naman talaga. Normal.



Kumuha ako ng tubig at meds sa cabinet at dinala yun sa may table, agad naman nyang ininom yung gamot at nahiga na.



"Here."



"Huh?"



"Wag ng maarte, lapit ka dito." Sumunod naman agad sya at nilagay ko na yung cool fever, yung nilalagay sa noo. Hahahaha.



"Thanks."



"You.. You wanna eat something?"



"Yeah. Burgers."



"Burgers? Makakain ka ba nun? Ibang klase kang may sakit ah."



"You asked me, I just answered it, and I didn't order you to do it naman." Inayos nya yung kumot nya at humarap na sa kabilang side.



"Psh. Whatever."



"Burgers.. Whenever I'm sick mom always prepare that for me. She's a weird mom right? Burgers.. I kinda miss mom."



"You're lucky." Bigla syang humarap sa side ko, napalayo naman ako bigla.



"Me? I think not really. They're separated"



"Still you have them."



"Where are your parents?"



"Honestly, I really don't know. A year ago, they cast me off, I just do whatever makes me happy even though its against their will, I still did it. They cut their ties with me, and started living by myself at the age of 23. Haaah. Too much drama. I'll make you burgers na lang." Pinahi ko na yung mga luha ko at tumingin sa kanya.



"You're really a strong woman Sunny." Then he patted my head. "Will you tell me what happened to you years ago?"



Wait. What? Years ago? Handa na nga ba akong i-open up sa ibang tao ang nangyari noon? Wait...



"Then, talunin mo muna ako."



"Where?"



Sabay nguso ko sa macbook nya.



"NBA."



"Yeah. Sure."



"Ehhh? May sakit ka. Sigurado ka?"



"That's the only way right? Get it, and also the joysticks. Let's play."



Tiningnan ko lang sya. Autistic talaga!



"What? I think my fever is going down. Here." Kinuha nya yung kamay ko at nilagay sa may leeg nya.



"Uh okay!" Teka lang! Leeg nya kaya yun!!!



Kinuha ko na yung laptop, iniabot ko sa kanya yung joystick, may hindi pala natapos na game. Yun na lang yung nilaro namin. San Antonio sya, Heat ako. Same lang kasi yung scores.



"I'm gonna win this thing and you're going to tell me what happened years ago. Hahahaha!" *insert devils laugh here*



"No! I'm not going to let that happen! Bwahahahaha!" *insert witches laugh here*



It's fourth quarter. Last 3 seconds.



"I won! I won! Belat!"



"Yeah. Cause I'm sick. I'm kinda dizzy. Turn it off and just sleep here."



"Here?"



"I mean on the guest room."



"Yeah. Guest room."



"We really don't need to play something for you to be able to tell me what happened before. When you're ready, I would like to listen."



"Sorry, It's just.. I really don't know where to start."



"It's fine. You don't have to force yourself. And I would like to thank you for finishing that game. That game was played 3 years ago. Now it's done."



"You mean, you and Summer?"



"Yeah. She was hospitalized that time, we played NBA in the middle of the night, and then the nurse came and scolded us like were just 8 years old. Hahaha. Your team was hers. She'll be happy if she'll know that her team won." Then he smiled.

"Hey, just make yourself at home." Tapos tumalikod na sya at mukhang natulog na. Ako naman inayos ko na yung laptop nya at ibinalik sa dating pwesto nito.




"Years ago, I loved a man. I really love him, to the point na sinuway ko ang parents ko, because I'm happy with him. That man changed my life, I was a cast away in our class until one day, he talked to me, and that changed everything. I was happy then, really happy. But I guess time changes people. Sorry but I can't still tell you more details. But soon. Promise." Hindi ko namalayan na hawak hawak ko na pala yung buhok nya.



"Your hair is soft, I really thought it's hard as a rock. Heehee.."



Then I fell asleep...

I opened my eyes.


May kumot ako. At..



"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"



Nasa kama ako ng master ko! Teka paano ako napunta dito? Nasa lapag ako kanina diba? Diba? At teka!!!! 10am na pala?????



"Hey! What happened to you?" Nasa may pinto sya may tuwalya sa ulo.



"Ah.. What.. How.. I mean paano ako napunta sa kama mo? Did I sleep walk or something?"



"Nah. I'm the one who put you there, how can you slept on the floor? I told you to sleep on the guest room. Pasaway!"



"Ehhhh?? Hahahaha! Paki ulit nga yung word na pasaway? Hahahaha!"


Yung slang nya. Hahaha! Ang kulit. So.. Ibig sabihin hindi nya narinig yung kwento ko kagabi? Tulog na pala sya nun?



"Get up. We'll prepare some breakfast. And.. Thank you for last night. And for telling me a glimpse of your past."



"WHAT????!! You mean..."



"Of course I heard everything, I was sleepy then when you uttered the words 'years ago' I got awake. You even caressed my hair. Tch."



"Oh no!!!" Napahilamos na lang ako sa mukha ko. Nakakahiya yata?!!!!!



"Go get that apron, and I'll teach you some basics."

"Breakfast. I'll teach you how to cook the easy ones."

It's been a month since that day when I got sick. And every night that scenes kept on playing in my freakin head. And this is not good. I want to hear more from her, but she's busy at school, I guess cramming for the midterms and she won't tell it easily. Do I have to be sick again so that I can hear more from her? And am I insane this time?


I opened my twitter account and got some good reviews in SHA. And tweeted 'stressed. Need someone to talk to.'



Someone dm'ed me.

My phone rings, it's her.



"Oh Hi. Yeah. Sure. Where are you again? Okay. I'll see you."

I followed her sa kitchen, she's preparing the cookies that she brought.

"Bubbuuuuu! Sky's here. Hinatid nya ako dito."



"Hi Sky. So you're with my wifey a while ago."



"Yeah. Just helped her packed her things."



"Did you just touched her lingeries?"



"Bubbuuu naman! He just carried my bags, and I'm the one who asked for her help."



"Calm down bro. I'm not making any move on your wife."



"Oo nga bubbuuu. Tinulungan na nga nya ako, and you know what He's in love! Kyakya!!"

And I saw Juan Paolo, Jeannie for short.

"Baklaaa! Uy Sky anong ginagawa mo dito?"


"Ano pa nga ba Autumn, edi hinahanap si Sunny. Nakakaloka ang mga gwapitong ito, si Sunny ang hinahanap, kanina yung Greg na saksakan na gwapo, ngayon naman etong si Sky ng super duper saksakan ng gwapo. Nasaan na ba ang true love ko!"



"Bakla you mean Greg? Matangkad, brown ang mata, medyo singkit at kulay itim ang buhok?"


"Oo yun nga."



"Wait. Jessie, who's Greg?"



"Ano Sky. Wait lang. Tatawagan ko lang sya."



"Autumn! Babalik ako. Magpapaphoto copy lang ako ng handouts! See yah papa Sky!"



"She's not answering her phone."



"Jessie. Tell me. Who is Greg?"



"Sky.. He's someone from Sunny's past."
