2. The Crowd

[Y/N POV]

[After School]

"Y/N, Are you busy tonight?" Winter asked me while walking to our locker. "Me? I have to work today" I answered her. "You already work? Wow" she was amazed. "I have to, if I don't work how can I fulfill my daily needs" I said while putting in my belongings. "What do you mean? You have your parents, right?" She asked me with a confused face. "I'm an orphan, my dad passed away when I was still a baby and my mom left me in the orphaned after she got married again" I said while felt a little bit sad. "I'm sorry for asking that" she patted my back. "It's alright" I smiled. "But how can you get here? I mean.." I cut her words. "By scholarship" I said and she just hummed. "It's alright, Y/N. I'm not like the other students, I will still become your friend, don't worry" she smiled and I smiled back at her. when we walked there was a crowd again and we couldn't walk because they blocked the corridor then Winter rolled her eyes. "What's wrong in here?" I asked her. " Tsk, it's because of NCT again" she said. "NCT? What is NCT?" I looked at her puzzled and I heard her chuckled. "I forgot to explain you about that, I will explain it later, okay?" she said and I just nodded. "YAH, MOVE. I want to walk" Winter suddenly screamed and made all eyes on us. "Hey, why did you do that?" I nudged her elbow. "I'm sorry" I apologized then dragged Winter with me.

[Jaemin POV]

We just came out from our class but the girls already surrounded us and it made me sighed again. "How can we walk?" Jisung said. "I'm tired of yelling at them" Renjun said and rolled his eyes. "Me too, why do they have to do this every day? It makes me sick of them" Haechan said and then a girl suddenly screamed from behind the crowd "YAH, MOVE. I want to walk" all of our eyes went to her then there was a girl who apologized and dragged her friend out from us. "Who was that?" Mark hyung asked. "It was Winter" Jisung said. "Oh, and the other one was Y/N the new girl that we mention before" Jisung added. I smirked. "What's wrong with you?" Jeno looked at me. "nothing, let's go" I said and they followed me.

[Y/N POV]

"Yah, why did you scream. It was really embarrassing" I covered my face. "Hehehe, sorry" she scratched her neck. "Anyways, who is NCT?" I asked her. "Well, NCT is the most popular gang in our uni and it consists of 7 members" she explained. "Basically, people in NCT are people that really famous in our uni, especially Na Jaemin" she added. "Who is he?" I asked her. "You don't know him?" she looked at me shocked. "How can I know him if today is my first day of school?" I hit her softly on her arm. "Oh yeah, I forgot. So, from what I heard, it said that Jaemin is the only child in his family and his dad is the most successful dan richest businessman in Seoul but we don't know the other info besides that. He is very secretive about his family life. Every girl in our school always has the dream to become their girlfriend" She said. "I see, so do you have feelings for them?" I asked her with a teasing face and I could see her face burning. "Why do you look like a tomato?" I laughed. "So do you like one of them?" I raised my brows. "Well, I do have a crush on Jeno but please keep it as our secret" she said while a little bit begging me. "ofc, why would I spread it" I laughed. "But why don't you like the other girls?" I asked her. "I don't like being like them, I prefer to secretly admire Jeno" she said. "I will support you no matter what" I smiled. "Thank you, Y/N but did any of them catch your attention?" she suddenly asked me and made me chocked on my water. "Sorry, are you alright?" Winter panicked a little bit. "I'm fine, well I didn't see their face clearly so no one caught my attention yet" I replied. "I see but for your information, all of NCT's members already have girlfriends, except Jeno and Jaemin. Oh and never ever to get closer or falling in love to Zhong Chenle" she warned me. "Why? And who is he?" I asked her with curiosity. "Well, Chenle is one of our classmates along with Jisung and they are part of NCT members. Chenle is a playboy, he always changes girls almost every week. So just be careful of him. Oh, I heard that Jisung just broke up with Wonyoung last month, so it means he is single right now" Winter said. "Um... as far as I know, Mark has a girlfriend named Mina. Renjun has one too named Lia, and Haechan is currently dating Ryujin. Chenle just broke up with Chaeyeon yesterday and Jisung's ex is Karina" she added. "I see, how about Jeno?" I asked her. "Jeno used to have a girlfriend named Yeri but she cheated on him so they broke up 2 years ago and now Yeri has moved to the USA with her current boyfriend and Jaemin" she stopped. "What's wrong with him?" I looked at her. "Well, I don't know much about him because he is very closed and also very cold toward other people except his members. However, there was a rumor that Jaemin is gay because he never pays attention to girls but it was just a hoax that spread by the boys who don't like him" Winter said. "Why they don't like him?" I asked. "Well... it's because Jaemin is perfect" She laughed and I was confused. "Everyone adores him a lot because of his handsomeness and charms besides that he's also the basketball captain so no wonder many girls have a crush on him but yeah he's cold as ice" she explained. "I see" I nodded. "Hey but do not mess up with Twice of they will make you live in hell. They bully people that they don't like especially girls that try to get closer to NCT" Winter warned me. "Who are they? Why do they dare to bully people?" I asked her. "I don't know too but it said that Mina or the so-called school queen is our principal's daughter and everyone afraid of him and her gang consists of 4 people including her. they are Mina the leader, Dahyun, Sana, and Nayeon. Dahyun and Sana are nice but not with Mina and Nayeon they are like a devil" Winter chuckled. "I also heard that Nayeon has a crush on Jaemin but he always rejects her. Poor Nayeon" she laughed. "Well, it's nice to listen to their story but I have to go to my workplace now" I stood up. "Let me drive you there" Winter stood up as well. "No need to do that, I can take the bus" I said. "Please, let me drive you there" she gave me her puppy eyes. "Ugh... fine how can I reject your cute face" I pinched her cheeks. "Hehehe, let's go" she dragged me to her car.

"Thank you so much, Winter" I thanked her and was about to get out of her car. "No problem, ohh so you work here?" she asked me. "yeah, why?" I asked her. "This's my mom's café" she giggled. "Ah... I see but why did I never see you before?" I asked her. "Because I never come here but anyways, I think I will come here often since you work here" she said. "Alright, I need to work now before the manager fires me" I said. "How dare him to fire him. If he fires you just inform me and I will fire him as well" she said in an angry tone and I just laughed. "You're so cute. Byeee, see you tomorrow" I got out of her car. "Bye, take care, Y/N" she said and started to drive away and I went inside to start my job.
