7. Winter

I was still sleeping peacefully when my phone rang. I answered it without looking who was calling me.

[OTP]

Me: Hello?

???: YAH!! Where are you? I've been waiting in front of your apartment for 20 minutes.

Me: Huh? Who are you?

???: Are you kidding me, Y/N? It's me, Winter.

Me: (Looked at the clock) Sh*t, I'm sorry, Winter. I'll open the door for you.

I hung up the call and ran to the main door, when I opened it and I saw Winter was death glaring at me. "Where were you?" she said while stepping in. "I was sleeping" I said. "WHAT? Didn't I tell you yesterday that I'll pick you up at 10?" she said. "I'm sorry, I went home late last night" I confessed to her. "Where did you go? My manager said that you were absent yesterday" she looked at me with a serious face. "I'm sorry" I looked down. "It's alright, Y/N. Now tell me where had you been?" she said and I began to tell her about yesterday's story. "WOW" she said. "why? What's wrong?" I looked at her confused. "I think Jisung likes you" she said while clapping her hands like a kid. "It's impossible, he just assumes me as his friend nothing more than that" I told her. "We'll see" Winter smirked. "Okay, you wait here. I'll go change now" I said while walking to my bedroom. "Don't take too long" she yelled from the living room. I chose a simple outfit for today, so this's what I looked like:

"I'm done, let's go" I said. "Wow, you're so pretty" Winter compliment me. "Thank you, you too. By the way, where are we going?" I asked her. "Let's go to the mall, I want to hang out there" She said while we walking in the hall.

We were sitting in a café because Winter said she wanted to have a brunch before shopping. After ordering our food, we talked to each other. "I heard that our uni always holds a valentine event. Am I right?" I asked Winter. "That's right, why?" she asked me back. "What will we do there?" "Well, it's simple just bring your partner and you'll have fun with your partner" she replied while smiling. "But how if we don't have a partner?" I asked her. "Then you have to pay to get in. Actually, I ask you to come here because I want to buy a dress for our valentine event" she said. "Do you have a partner already?" I looked at her. "Nope but usually one day before the event the boys will ask a random girl to become their partner so they don't need to pay. Last year, my partner was Chenle and I hated it" she rolled her eyes. "Why and how could he become your partner?" I asked her. "Because I had no other choice than became his partner. No one asked me, he was the only one who asked me" she said while pouting. "Why didn't you ask Jeno? You like him right?" I asked her. "Do you think it's that easy? So many girls who asked him none of them were accepted, he and Jaemin even chose to pay the entrance instead of having to bring their partner" Winter said. "How about you? Do you have someone on your mind to become your partner?" Winter asked me. "I don't know. I think no one will ask me" My face turned sad. "Hey, don't be sad. Believe me, Jisung will ask you tomorrow" she smiled and I looked at her confused "Jisung?" "Yeah, last year, he brought Karina but this year he has no one. So there's a high chance for him to choose you as his partner" Winter said. "Out of many girls, why should I?" I asked her. "Idk, I think he likes you. You'll see tomorrow" Winter chuckled and I just remained silent.

"Y/N, I think I'm done. How about you?" Winter asked me. "Me too and thank you so much for buying me the dress and the other stuff" I smiled at her. "No problem, babe. Let's go buy ice cream" she said while dragging me with her. she kept dragging me and while dragging it I bumped into someone. "I'm sorry" I apologized. "It's alright. Wait, you're Y/N, right?" the person spoke. "yes, do I know you?" I asked the person. "Ah... so you're the one who Jisung kept talking about?" ??? said. "Y/N, where were you? I was looking for you and..." Winter stopped for a moment when she saw the person I bumped into. "Renjun? What are you doing here with Y/N?" Winter asked the boy who I thought his name was Renjun. "I was hanging out with my members and I suddenly bumped to her" he pointed at me then Winter looked around. "Where are your members? I don't see them around" Winter said. "I went to the toilet and they were waiting for me at the restaurant" Renjun replied to her. "I see but I have an important thing to do with Y/N. Byee" she said while dragging me again with her.

"interesting" I thought then I walked back to my members. "What took you so long?" Haechan asked me. "There was a little incident" I replied. "What kind of incident?" asked Chenle. "Nothing, anyway, I want to ask something" I said. "What?" Mark hyung said. "Do you guys already know who you will be partnering with for this year's Valentine's event?" I asked them. "Ofc, I'll bring Mina" Mark hyung replied and all of us nodded. "I'll bring my beloved girlfriend, Ryujin. How about you?" Haechan asked me. "Ofc, Lia" I replied. "Can I bring a girl that is not from our school?" Chenle said. "We still have the same rules that we cannot bring strangers to our school" Jeno replied to him. "Then I'll ask Winter again" Chenle said. "WHAT?! No, you cannot take her" Jeno suddenly got up. "What's wrong with you?" I asked him and I heard Jaemin and Jisung chuckled. "Let him be" Jaemin said. "How about you, Jisung?" I asked Jisung and all our eyes looked at Jisung. "Idk, Y/N probably" he replied while looking at his phone. "Aww... our Jisung-ie has grown up" Jaemin pinched Jisung's cheeks. "I'm not a baby anymore, hyung" He rolled his eyes. "How about you, Jaem?" Mark hyung asked him. "Like always, pay" he replied. "When will you bring your partner, huh?" Haechan asked. "Later when I meet with the right girl" he said. "Then bring Y/N. She's different" Jisung suddenly spoke. "You're crazy" said Jaemin and walked away. "What's wrong with him?" asked Jeno but no one replied to him.
