4. Wait

[Y/N POV]

"Sh*t, I'm late" I swiftly ran to the bus station but I thought today was my bad day, the bus has left now I didn't know how could I go to the uni. I cursed on myself for waking up late. I had no other choice rather than walked to uni. While walking half-dead I heard a motorbike honk from behind, so I turned around and saw a young boy open his helmet. "Hey, you're Y/N, right?" ??? said. "Yeah, do I know you?" I asked him and I heard him chuckled a bit. "It's me, Jisung. Ah, we haven't talked before but you were the student in my class, right?" he said. "You're right" I smiled. "Hop on, I'll take you to the school. We're late now" he offered while giving me his helmet. "How about you?" I asked him. "No need to worry about me, hurry up" he said and I quickly got on to his motorbike. "Ready? firm grip, I will go now" after he said that, he immediately rode his motorbike at high speed.

"Thank you so much" I thanked him and was about to go but he held my wrist. "Wait" he said and smoothed my hair a little. I was blushing a little bit. "Thank you" I said then ran away from him. How can someone become so cute and handsome at the same time. I tried to get rid of him from my head then suddenly I bumped into someone and it made me fell. "Ouch" I said and stood up. "I'm sorry" I apologized but he didn't respond to me, after taking a little glance at me, he walked away but his wallet fell. "Hey... wait" I called him but he didn't stop, I tried to run to him but the girls blocked my way.

I was walking in the corridor freely without being surrounded by girls but then someone suddenly bumped to me and she fell. I just looked at her without saying anything then she apologized. Before going, I took a glance at her then left her there. I heard she called me but I was late for my first class so I just ignored her.

[Classroom – Y/N POV]

I ran to my class as fast as I could but my lecturer was already there and about to start the lesson. "Ms. Choi, mind explaining to me why you're late?" he asked me. "I'm so sorry, there was a lot of traffic, yeah" I lied to him. "Go back to your seat" he said and I bowed at him, I looked around but I didn't find Jisung. I thought where he is? Is he going to skip the class? "Yah, where did you go? Why you were late?" Winter asked me when I sat. "I woke up late this morning. I slept late last night" I said. "Aish, you made worry" she said. "Sorry, but do you want to know something?" I looked at her. "What?" she asked me then I began to tell her about what happened to me this morning. "Ayee, I think someone is have a crush on you, babe" she teased me after I told her everything and at that moment, Jisung entered the classroom. "Where have you been, Mr. Park? Don't you have a clock at your house?" Mr. Kim asked Jisung who just stared at him then he looked at me before answering the teacher. "I'm sorry, sir but I was in the toilet" I answered. "Go to your seat" Mr. Kim said and he walked past me and sat behind us. "Aww... her beloved guardian sat behind her" Winter teased me in a small voice. "I hate you, Kim Minjeong" I looked at her. "I love you too, my bestie" she hugged me.

[Jaemin POV]

"Where is Chenle?" Jeno asked Jisung when he sat down. "He said he's dizzy because of last night. How about Renjun and Haechan hyung?" Jisung asked us. "Same with Chenle" Mark hyung replied him. "Who was with you this morning?" Jeno asked him. "What do you mean?" I looked at Jeno. "He came with a girl this morning" Jeno said. "A girl? You already found a new girlfriend?" Mark hyung said and made students in the cafeteria looked at us. "Hyung!!! Lower your voice, please. You embarrassed us" Jisung said. "So?? You have a new one, huh?" I asked Jisung. "It's not like what you guys thought. I saw her when she walked to here, so I offered her to go together since we were already late" I explained. "So who was the girl? Do we know him?" Jeno asked him and Jisung face turned red. "What's wrong? Oh, and he even fixed the girl's hair. How sweet was our maknae" Jeno teased him. "Really? You never did that to Karina before" Mark hyung said. "Aish.... She isn't my girlfriend. She just my classmate" Jisung said. "So who is she?" Mark hyung asked him. "I think I can guess her" Jeno said. "Then try it" I said. "It's Y/N. am I right?" Jeno answered then Jisung became silent. "Jisung, is what Jeno said right?" Mark hyung asked him and he just nodded. " I told you, you like her, right?" I teased him. "I don't know, hyung but I don't think so" Jisung replied to me. "But I think soon you'll like her" Mark hyung said and Jisung just walked away. "Where are you going?" Jeno yelled at him. "Buy my food, though" he rolled his eyes and walked away. "I'm going to the toilet" I said and walked from the cafeteria.

"I think you can go to the cafeteria first. I'm going to the toilet" I told Winter and she nodded. "Do not take too long. I'm hungry" she said and walked away. After finishing my business in the toilet, I went out and I saw the boy that I bumped with this morning. "Hey, wait" I held his wrist and it made him turned around. "I'm sorry for what happened this morning" I apologized but he didn't say anything, he just stared at his wrist that I still held and I immediately let go of it. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean—" he cut my words. "What do you want?" he said in a deep voice. "Ah, here I think this's yours. You dropped it when you walked away this morning" I gave him his wallet. He took it from me then walked away. "What an arrogant and cold boy. He didn't even thank me. I shouldn't give it back to him if I knew he would do that to me" I thought in my mind while pouting. "what's wrong with you, huh?" someone pinched my right cheek and when I turned around it was Jisung. "What are you doing here? How if your fangirls saw what did you do to me?" I started to look around us. "You're cute. No one is here only the two of us" he chuckled. "what a pervert" I rolled my eyes. "Anyways, what were you talking about with my hyung?" he asked me. "Your hyung? Who?" I asked him. "The boy that you talked with" he said. "Ah... that cold boy?" I said. "Cold boy? He has a name" he said. "I don't know and I didn't care either. Why do you ask about him?" I asked him back. "You didn't hear my question? Okay let me repeat it again what did you talk about with him?" he looked at me. "Nothing, I just gave him his wallet that he dropped this morning when we bumped into each other, why do you ask?" I looked at him. "Ah nothing, just ask. Anyways, his name is Jaemin and he always like that so I hope you can understand him. I'm sorry if he treated you coldly" Jisung said. "It's alright. Anyways, I need to go now. Winter must have been waiting for me" I was about to go but he held my wrist and it made me turned around and looked at him again. "Ah... can I have your number?" he asked me while scratching his neck. "Sure" I gave him my number. "Thank you, Y/N. I'll text you later" he said happily and I just smiled and went away to find Winter.
