5. Rain

[Y/N POV]

"I'm sorry, Y/N, I cannot drive you home. I have an important family gathering to attend" Winter said while closing her locker. "It's alright I can go home by myself besides that I have to do my detention. I have to help the librarian to clean up the library" I told her. "Okay, anyway, tomorrow is Saturday. Let's go somewhere. I'll treat you so don't worry" she said. "But I have work tomorrow" I said. "Aish... I will tell my mom about that, so don't worry. The manager won't fire you. Get ready before 10" she said and I nodded. "Bye, Y/N. See you tomorrow" Winter walked away while waving her at me. I looked at my phone and rushed to the library. I still have 30 minutes before my shift started. After helping the librarian for about 20 minutes, I finally finished arranging the book and it's time to go home. "Thank you so much Y/N for the help" Ms. Lee the librarian thanked me. "My pleasure, Ms. Lee" I said and took my bag. Like always, I walked to the bus station and waited for the bus. 5 minutes has passed but the bus hasn't arrived yet and it started to rain. I was panicked because I couldn't go to my workplace if it's raining. When I wanted to walk, it started to rain heavily, I didn't have any choice rather than stay there until the rain subsided. I was sitting alone then someone sat beside me and it was Jisung. "What are you doing here?" Jisung asked me. "What else apart from taking shelter from the rain" I said and looked back at my phone. "Where are your parents?" he asked, I took a deep breath and said "I don't have one. They left me" "I'm sorry" he quickly apologized. "It's alright, I'm used to it" I said and smiled. There was an awkward silence between us then I decided to talk "How about you, why did you go home at this hour?" "I had my practice and I usually go home at this hours or sometimes until it's dark" he replied. "What did you do?" I looked at him. "I hang out with my members" he smiled. We waited there while talking to each other until the rain stopped. "Hey, I need to go now" I got up. "Let me take you there" Jisung said. "It's fi---" he dragged me to his motorbike and put me on his helmet. "Firm grip" He said and started to drive away. "Do you know where should you drop me?" I talked to him but it seemed he didn't hear me so I tapped his shoulders and he slowed down a bit. "What's wrong?" he asked. "Do you know where should we go?" I asked him again. "My house" he said and started to drive again. "Hey, no" I yelled but he didn't listen.

[Time Skip – Jisung's House]

He has a huge house or I could say a mansion. I was still amazed by his house when he suddenly flicked my forehead softly. "Are you going in or staying here?" he asked and I came back to my sense. "Huh?" I said but he didn't respond, he held my wrist and took me with him to his house. "Do you live here alone?" I asked him while looking around. "No, I live here with my parents and brother" he replied while throwing his body on the sofa. "Where are they? I want to greet them" he looked at me weirdly. "You're weird" he said. "Ofc, I have to greet the host" I said still standing. "I'm the host, why don't you sit?" he said then pulled me, and because I lost my balance I was fallen on top of him and now our faces were only inches apart. We looked at each other for a moment until someone talked. "Ekhem... Jisung" it was a women's voice, I quickly stood up and looked at the woman who stood up opposite us. "Mom? You're at home? I thought you went to Jaemin hyung's house" Jisung stood up. "I just came back an hour ago, anyways, who is this gorgeous girl with you?" she asked while smiling. "Ah... this's Y/N my friend and Y/N this is my mom" Jisung introduced us. "Hello, aunty" I bowed. "Are you sure you're Jisung friend? After what you guys just did, I cannot trust his words" His mom teased us. "MOM!?" Jisung whispered-yelled at her. "Fine... fine... I trust you guys. Anyways, have you eaten, Y/N?" She looked at me. "Not yet" I said. "Ah... I see, just go to Jisung's room and play for a while, I will prepare our dinner" she said and was about to leave. "Can I help?" I said. "Sure, if you want" she smiled then I looked at Jisung. "Just do whatever you want, make sure to feel like it's your own house" he smiled and I hugged him "Thank you" he ruffled my hair. "I'm going to take a bath, if you need something just ask my maids or go straight to my room" he left me alone in his huge living room. I was lost for a moment but luckily, one of his maids approached me "Madam is waiting for you in the kitchen. Let me bring you there" I just followed her from behind. "What can I help you, aunty?" I asked her while washing my hands. "Ah, please help me to clean this" she gave me something.

[Time Skip – After 2 hours]

"Thank you so much for helping me, Y/N" she smiled at me. "no problem, aunty" I smiled. "Don't be too awkward, make it like your own home" She said and I thanked him. "Yes, aunty" "Do not call me aunty, just call me mom, okay?" she said. "Okay, aun—I mean mom" I smiled. "good girl. I'm going to my room to clean up. You can go to Jisung's room. It's on the second floor. Just asked the maid if you cannot find it" she said and left me. Actually, while cooking we talked a lot and I told her everything about my past and she decided to let me to call her mom. She said she always wanted to have a daughter but she couldn't have so she already assumed me as her daughter. Again and again, I was lost in this house. "Excuse me, where is Jisung's room?" I decided to ask his maid. "It's over here, please follow me" I followed her and he brought me to Jisung's room. "Thank you" I smiled and she left. I knocked on his door twice but I got no reply so I opened it carefully. When I entered, I couldn't find Jisung but then he stepped out of the bathroom shirtless, I quickly covered my eyes. "W..what are you doing here?" he stuttered while asking me. "I was looking for you. I'm sorry" I apologized and turned around, after a while, he finally talked again "You can open your eyes now, I'm done" he said and after that, there was an awkward situation between us then Jisung decided to break the silence between us "Do you want to take a bath?" "Huh? I don't bring my clothes how can I change?" I asked him. "I'll lend you my hoodie" he said. "O..okay" I replied. "Okay, just go to the toilet first. I'll give you my clothes later" he said and I went to his bathroom to fresh up. It took me about 15 minutes but when I wanted to go out, I remember he didn't give me the towel and he hasn't given me his clothes yet, so I yelled his name from the bathroom "JISUNG....PARK JISUNG" "WHAT?" he yelled from the outside. "WHERE'S THE TOWEL AND YOUR CLOTHES" I yelled back. "I HAVE PUT IT OUTSIDE THE BATHROOM, JUST TAKE IT. I'LL WAIT YOU DOWNSTAIRS TO EAT OUR DINNER" he said and left. After I heard he shut the door, I went outside to take the clothes and towel.
