Keep It Fair

Lana's POV

"Please stay." That's what she said. "Marina... I can't sleep here... Francesco is waiting for me to go home." I said sadly, thinking about how mad Francesco will be. "But, I don't wanna be aloone here, pleaaaase don't go." She pleaded. I thought about it. I barely know Marina, I mean, this is just the second time in years that we hang out. Should I? "Hmm... I guess I'll stay.. But I'll sleep on this couc-" "NOOO, you'll sleep here with mee, I don't wanna be alone" I was interrupted by Marina and lost in my thoughts. Marina is a mess. "Okay, okay" I saod still a bit confused "I'm going." I laid by her side and she whispered a 'thank you' and suddenly she wrapped her arms around me and rested her head on my chest, this was little uncomfortable for me but when I tried to move she was sleeping already and I didn't want to wake her. She looks so peaceful and cute when she's sleeping. Doesn't even looks like she's drunk. I closed my eyes and tried not to think about what Francesco will do when I go home.

Marina's POV

I opened my eyes to see a sleeping Lizzy and my arms wrapped around her. I tried to get up without waking her. I saw a note on the table with a medicine "For your health. Call me. Lizzy, xx" Oh god, she was going home but I must had begged for her to stay. I get pretty scared of being alone when I'm drunk. I guess it's because I still have a little bit of conscience and decide that I could make some shit happen if nobody is with me. "Well, if I made Liz stay here, I have to do something to make it up for her." I said to myself as I take the medicine she left for me and went to shower and change my clothes because I'll go get some breakfast for us.

When I arrived at my hotel room again, I saw Lizzy waking up.

"Good morning, sleepyhead." I said as she rubbed her eyes. "Morning, M." She says with a husky voice and a groan on the final of the sentence, which made me giggle. "I guess you're not a morning person" I mean, I got drunk last night... anyways, I bought some coffee and tea for us. I didn't know which do you prefer so I bought two for you. And I was wondering if we can go out aga-" "HEY CALM DOWN MARINA, IT'S ONLY 9 AM, YOU SPEAK TOO FAST" she almost yelled at me and stared a little as I was a little shocked. She bursted out laughing. "Oh my god! Did you thought I was mad at you? I'm sorry M, I was just kidding." She said between chuckles and then she got up to hug me. "If you thought that you're going out with me again to make up that you got drunk last night, you thought wrong," she said and before I could answer she continued "there's nothing to make up. No matter if you got drunk or if we went to a boring place, hanging out with you it's always amazing. I don't even know why did we were without seeing each other for such a long time. Before you can insist, yeah, I'll go out with you again, M." She finished, scaring me once more. "I thought you were going to say that yesterday was awful" I let out a laugh.

I hear a cellphone ringing and Lizzy got up to answer it.

"Hello?"

Lana's POV

"Hello?"

"LANA WHERE THE FUCK YOU ARE??" Francesco yelled through the phone "YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING TO COME HOME. YOU MUST BE SLEEPING WITH SOMEONE." In situations like that, I get disgusted of him. This is not how I met him. He was kind and gentle, now he's just a jerk. I can't be with him anymore.

"Look, I had to stay here because Marina needed my help," I say trying to keep my cool "I'm going home in 30 minutes, we need to talk."

"OH I BET THIS BITCH NEEDED YOUR HEL-" before he could finish, I hung up. I looked at Marina and she was with a confused expression staring at the floor. "Hmm, hey M," I say trying to catch her attention, and she looked at me "I need to go, it was awesome hanging with you, do you think we can go out today again?" I asked and she slowly nodded "Yeah, I guess so... But I'll pick you up this time" she said and smiled. "Okay" I said and wrote my address on the back of the note I left yesterday for her. She walked with me to the door "See you later then" I said and she hugged me tightly. "Thanks for staying here" she said as we were still wrapped in each other's arms. We grow apart and I went outside and murmured a 'bye'.

As soon as she closed the door I went to the parking lot and entered my car then rushed to my house. I need to talk to Francesco. I need to tell him how I fell about our relationship. I need to tell him it's over.
