Marina's POV

Ellie has been texting me since the incident, she's saying that she misses me and asking if is everything okay.

I can't just dump her, she's showing that she's not what I thought, I misunderstood everything, even if I don't want anything with her but friendship, I can't be mean.

My cell phone went off again. It was Ellie.

Ellie: Hey M, I'm still in LA + I miss you loads :(

I thought a little about what to do and I had an idea. Two weeks passed since the incident so me and Lana came to her house in LA.

"Lizzy?? Where are you?" I asked looking around her huge house, I'm still a bit stunned about it. "I'm here, M" she replied from the living room.

"Liz... I've been thinking about something" I said in a interrogative tone. "What is it?" She asked looking up from some book she was reading.

"Hmm... I don't want you to misunderstood anything but what do you think if Ellie comes to dinner tonight?" I asked being quite excited about it, I want to be her friend again but I don't want Lizzy to be uncomfortable about that because Ellie likes me. I have to do something about it.

Lizzy stared at me for some time but then she a forced smile and then looked away "Yeah... It's okay" I know she wasn't okay about that so I sat down by her side.

"Lizzy, look at me..." She didn't look at me so I grabbed her chin to see a sad figure drawn on her features, like a work of art that's being destroyed by the time.

"Lizzy, you have to believe in me. I think you have no idea of how much I love you, please don't ever be jealous because I would never change what we have." I said looking straight down her hazel green eyes.

"What do we have?" She asked.

"Love. True love that can never be ruined by anything or anyone. You taught me how to love, since I laid my eyes you again I can't think of anything but how much I want to be by your side until the end of time."

A tear escaped from Lizzy's eye but I kissed it away. "I love you Marina." She said and then pulled me into a soft kiss.

We pulled away and just sat there, enjoying each other's company and holding hands, felling the warmness of the touch.

"M... It's really okay if Ellie come today" she looked at me with a shy smile and I mumbled a 'thank you' in response to her kindness and cuteness and then I pecked her lips.

I texted Ellie saying that she should come to dinner and then I sent the address.

I hope she forgot about what happened between us.

Lana's POV

Marina is finishing to make the dinner as I hear someone at the door. It must be Ellie.

"I'll get it, M" I state as I walk towards the door and get ready to face her.

She won't steal my love.
