(Your POV)

We were all riding our bikes to Bens house.

"So you just cut it off?" I asked Beverly.
"What?"
"Your hair." I answered.
"Oh a-yeah." She smiled awkwardly.

"Do you regret it?"
"No, not at all, I-I kinda did it to try get to my dad...in a way." Beverly sighed.
"Oh I get it, I understand." I smiled and she smiled back. Thinking about how my mother would react.

We had finally arrived at bens house and we all dropped our bikes outside.

Ben had rushed ahead of us all and tried to pack some stuff away.

Richie and Eddie ranted about something as everyone walked in.

"Wow!" Richie exclaimed.
"Cool huh?" Ben asked.
"No, no nothing cool.there's nothing cool." Richie stated.

"This is cool right here, wait no, no it's not cool." Eddie added.
"Don't worry they're losers therefore their opinions don't matter...even in the losers club." I reassured Ben and he smiled.

"Hey!" Richie exclaimed.
"Oh please trashmouth you'll live after a little insult." I chuckled.
"What's that?" Stan asked.

"Oh that? That's the charter for Derry township." Ben stated.
"NERD ALERT!" Richie exclaimed.
"He says while fixing the huge glasses on his face." I retorted cheekily.
Stan and Eddie laughed.

"Yeah nice nails by the way." Eddie added, Richie just glared at me. I smiled.

"No actually it's pretty interesting. Derry started as a beaver trapping camp." Ben explained.
"Still is am I right boys!" Richie exclaimed.

"Oh ew!" I frowned.
"Oh come on you love me." Richie smiled.
"Don't count on that." I felt myself go bright red and hoped he didn't notice.

It annoyed me how easily he could make me so flustered.

"91 people signed the charter that made Derry. But later that winter they all disappeared without a trace." Ben explained.
"The entire camp!?" Eddie and I asked in unison.
