Dear story book
A bookstore is a place of stories and life that some people find a home in. When one reads a book you learn so much more about a world that is just out of our grasp. Feeling things that are otherwise scary to feel in the real word. Growing dreams from words on a page. To some people the two are just best friends who now just say hi in passing, but the girls still know what they are to one another. Who the girls are today is because of the bond between them. Like a book they read the words and grew and changed. Like in a book they got attached to the characters, that is the other person's personality. They learned to push themselves in different directions. One girl was reading a book about steadiness, patience and how to take in the world with a calm demeanor. While the other girl sat on the edge of her seat with a book that is full of giggles and randomness. A book that taught her to say the brilliant words that are inside her head just a little louder. But in most cases you see parts of yourself in a book. They are connected with the book's stubbornness and hidden insecurities that are hidden deep between the pages. They understood the loyalty of the books' own style. Once the two girls had finished their books they did not just simply lay the book on a shelf to be forgotten. No, both girls set the book near their beds and sometimes between reading other stories and growing to be the person they are supposed to be. They pick up the old book once again to relive the stories and lives the book showed them. Holding on to chapters and pages just enough to let the book know it will never be forgotten and will always hold a beautiful memory, the two girls are just waiting for a sequel so they can keep enjoying and growing with one another.
Author notes: Okay so wrote this in my that this best friend of mine hates the cliche of her being the smart person. I wanted to write this in such a way I hope that in some way she is proud of who she is. She is a brilliant kind human. Plus it just so happens books have many sides to them like she does and that one of my favorite things in this life is reading. Like how getting to call her friend is one of my favorite sayings.
Us? Friends? always.
