4: Halloween

"Awe, so cute!" Kenny yelled. "I knew it was right for me to buy it."

"Thank you, Kenny," I groaned. Kenny had bought me a shirt, which said 'baby loading.' And I'll admit it's adorable.

I'm already on my fifth month. And I look like a ball. But my little girl has begun to kick, and that tells me she's anxious to come out.

"So for Halloween, we should match," Kenny said.

"Oh like what?" I asked.

"Well, let see," Kenny tap the table. "Oh, how about pirates."

"With this belly," I said.

"So, you'll be a pregnant pirate," he said. "Come on yeah."

"Alright," I said.

"Well go buy them after school," he said. "Because then, later on, their won't be no more costumes." That's true.

"Hey guys," I looked up at Anthony. He looked exhausted.

"You need some sleep," I said.

"I know," he said. "Been up almost all night working."

"Where do you work?" I asked.

"Um, can't tell you," he said.

"Oh," must be something embarrassing for him.

"We were talking about Halloween," Kenny said. "You want to join us."

"Sure, Halloween is that time when I get to be myself," he said. "As in be childish."

"Awesome," Kenny said. "We going to be pirates and you?"

"Not sure," Anthony said. "But I'll see."

I smiled. Halloween will be fun. Candy, lots and lots of candy. It's what I love most. After school, we all went to the store. There weren't that many people, so I was grateful. We looked for the pirate's costumes. Kenny found his size easy. But for me, my god, I was massive. I have never been large. I guess I'll have to deal with it only she is born.

"Oh lights sticks," Kenny said and grabbed a bunch of them. He also grabbed makeup and some other stuff. Don't even know why he needs all that. But that's Kenny for you.

"Aren't you getting anything?" I asked Anthony.

"Nope got mine at home," he smiled. "Ah, why do you need balloons for?"

"Um, I don't know," Kenny said. "Maybe to make boobs."

I chuckled.

"Okay then," Anthony held his laugh.

"Hey watch it!" Kenny said as this guy bumps into him. "You could say excuse me!"

"Make me!" The guy said.

"I will," Kenny did the unthinkable. He kissed the guy right on the lips. Of course, he would. I mean the guy handsome. His black hair and dark green eyes. And then Kenny ran off. "Ha take that! Cassidy, Tony hurry up!"

Anthony grabbed my hand and dragged me away. The guy stood there dumbstruck. The people around just whisper and gasp. Some were covering their kid's eyes.

Kenny cut the line.

"Excuse me pregnant woman coming through," Kenny said. People yell at him. But Kenny ignores them and cut the line. He placed the stuff."Hurry up. Before that guy comes after me." We paid for the stuff, and he basically, dragged us out. As soon as we stepped outside, we could hear the guy calling us.

"Hey come back here!" I looked back. There was a crowd, so he had to like push around.

Kenny usher us into the car. I sat in the backseat. More space for me. Kenny like sped out of the parking lot rolling his window down.
