It was a dark rainy day. Cassidy Dawn Mayhew, 18 years old, walked down the street. She was running late if her parents find out she had sneaked out. She'll be in deep trouble. Her parents are very religious. They want her to be perfect. To be an ideal daughter and not be like some teens out there. She doesn't even have a boyfriend, because even guy she meets, her father always managed to give them a lecture about what to do and what not to do. Mostly to respect her, and to keep their hands to themselves. She'll be single for the rest of her life. Right now that's isn't something to think about she needs to get home. She had sneaked out to go to a party. But it was crash by the cops. She was lucky enough to get away.
So not here she was, walking home. The rain was pouring down fast. By the time she arrives back, she'll be in more trouble and probably grounded for the rest of her life. So she decided to take a shortcut through an alleyway. It was dangerous at this time, but she needed to get home and fast. She was careful to look at her surroundings. She doesn't want someone popping in on her. It was getting colder. She pulled her close tiger against her. As she walked, she heard a scream. More like screams. They were coming down the alley. Slowly she made her way down the alleyway. Sneaking around like this could get her in trouble, with the wrong people. She leaned against the wall and peeked. She saw a car; it looked like it had crashed into the wall. And someone was approaching the vehicle. She frowned, it was a hooded figure. The cloak it had on was creepy and seem to float around.
"No! Ah!" Someone screamed.
She retreated and breathed in and out. Whoever the hooded figure was it seem like it was going to kill the people in the car.
Cassidy didn't know what to do. That was the only way she could get home. She can't go back now. Cassidy peeked, there was no one there. She grabbed her phone from her pocket. Cassidy may as well report it. Walking closer to the car, she saw a female laying on the pavement, and a male inside the vehicle, in the passenger car. Cassidy peeked in the car and saw two kids. She hopes they aren't dead because the man and woman don't look alive. She went to the other side and opened the back door. Cassidy couldn't just leave them there. As soon as she opened it, the two kids looked at they. They seem to frighten.
"It's alright you'll be okay," she told them and helped them out. Making sure to block the view of their dead parents. She waited for the police to get there and for the ambulance. She had told them the directions and where they were. Cassidy took the kids to the sidewalk and waited.
"That man kill mommy and daddy," the little girl sniffle. Cassidy frowned.
"Who?" She asked her.
"The man with the hood," she Gil said. Cassidy just sighed.
"Don't worry I'm sure the police will catch him," she said. "What's your names?"
"I'm Kansas and his Steve, my brother," the girl said.
Cassidy smiled. Soon the police were here and did all the procedures. They asked her questions. She answers them all. There wasn't need for when to go down to the station. So they let her off.
She again resumed her way home. But now she felt as if someone was following her. She looked behind, but no one was there. She just shrugged it off and kept walking. Again she sensed someone following her. She cut through the park and walked faster the air around her became colder, there was fog coming out of nowhere. The wind blew harder, and the rain pours down like it was trying to kill someone. Cassidy ran, it could be that man that killed those people. And she won't be his victim. The wind made her hair blow onto her face, and it was hard to see.
Cassidy ended up tripping. She winced, she may have sprained her ankle. Cassidy looked around; the fog had covered the whole park. She couldn't tell which way to go; she grabbed her phone, but it had no signal.
