"Mhm." Jake said, grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the elevator without hesitation. I giggled to myself, following him closely. As the doors shut, he turned to me, wrapping his arms around my stomach and leaned his head on my shoulder as we both watched the numbers slowly go up.
"I was getting sick of everyone staring at you anyway." He whispered into my ear. I felt my heart beat faster, my cheeks burning red. When the doors opened, I took him by the hand, pulling him down the hallway towards his room. As I opened the door, I felt his hands on my waist, eagerly pushing me inside, quickly shutting the door behind us.
"You are so beautiful." He sighed, pulling me in, kissing me hard on the mouth. My heart was beating faster as his hands traveled up, tangling themselves into my hair, pulling me closer. I reached up, grabbing him by the shirt, unbuttoning it one by one. I felt him smile.
"Jess.." He sighed, staring back at me. "I.. wanna talk about it now."
"Now?" I asked, my eyes moving down to his lips. The last thing I wanted to do right now was talk. He nodded, biting down on his lip."Okay." I sighed, giving him a gentle smile. I took his hand and lead him out onto the balcony that overlooked the city. It was beautiful. He looked out, leaning up against the railing.
"Wow.." He said softly. I couldn't help but smile. I loved getting to see him experience where I was from now."Way different than Michigan, I know." I laughed, standing close to him, leaning my head on his shoulder. I felt him nod.
"Yeah." He sighed.
"But.. it's home." I said simply.
"Could.. you ever see yourself.. moving?" He asked. I looked up at him, but he kept his eyes locked on the skyline.
"I guess.. that would.. depend." I said quietly. "..on where." I felt him nod again, staying quiet.
"And.. with who." I added. He peeked over at me, smiling. "Why do you ask?""Just wondering.." He shrugged, his smile growing.
"Is this what you want to talk about?" I asked. He giggled to himself, shaking head.
"No.. not yet, anyway. You know what I want to talk about, Jess." I bit down my lip, staring back up at him."I do." I said softly, reaching over for his hand. His smile grew.
"Jess, I love you and I-"
"Jake, I want to be with you." I said, feeling my heart start to race. "You.. you're amazing and I just .. I want you." His smile grew into a toothy grin as he reached forward holding my face in his hands."I.. I want to be done. And I want to be done.. with you." I said, feeling my heart beating out of my chest. "I want to be your girlfriend.. again." I giggled to myself.
He sighed, pulling me into a passionate kiss. I couldn't help but smile, wrapping my arms around his neck, pulling him up against me. His lips curled into a smile as he moved away, leaning his forehead against mine.
"Are you still drunk?" He asked, giggling to himself.
"Only a little." I laughed, pulling him back in. "But.. I mean it."
"Okay good, me too." He said, his smile growing. He picked me up and carried me inside, tossing me onto the bed."Jake!" I laughed as he crawled over me, kissing me again. I reached up, tangling my fingers in his hair, pulling him closer. He kissed me back harder as I felt his hands move up my chest.
"Jake, w-what were you talking about.. when you said.. not yet?" I asked, staring back up at him. He shook his head, laughing.
"Oh, no no no, we are not bringing that up right now. I just got you back. I can't risk scaring you off again." He said, pulling me into another kiss."N-no, I wanna know." I sighed, backing away again. He bit down on his lip.
"Tomorrow." He smirked. "We can talk about it tomorrow. Now come here." He said, pulling me into another passionate kiss. I kissed him back harder, but couldn't shake the thought. I backed away, smirking back up at him. He smiled, shaking his head."You're not gonna let this go, are you?" He asked. I bit down on my lip, shaking my head. He sighed, rolling off the bed, going over to the mini bar.
"We're gonna need some of these then." He said, pouring the two little bottles of liquor into their own glasses. "This will make it.. a little easier." I giggled, sitting up."But first.." He said, putting our glasses down on the end table. He went around and reached behind me, gently unzipping the back of my dress. I felt my heart pounding in my chest and his fingers traced down the center of my back. I stood up, letting the dress slide onto the floor. I saw his eyes move up and down as his cheeks burned red. I giggled, crawling back onto the bed, pulling him into another kiss before sitting back against the pillows, taking one of the glasses, and handing him the other.
"You're.. just gonna sit there like that, huh?" He smirked, biting down on his lip. I smiled back, nodding, taking a sip. He giggled, moving closer.
"So.. what did you mean?" I asked. He sighed, taking a big sip, staring back at me for a moment.
"You really wanna talk about this now?" He asked. "I can think of something much better we could do.. now that I'm officially in boyfriend territory again." He said, gently running his finger up my leg. I smiled back at him, my cheeks burning."Oh, we're gonna do that." I said softly. "After we talk about this." He stared back at me wide-eyed.
"Oh.. O-Okay.." He sighed, taking another sip, his cheeks burning bright red. "Well, I.. I've been thinking about.. I don't know.. maybe.. maybe.. buying my own place up in Michigan. And.. well.. if you could see yourself moving.. maybe.. you'd have a drawer. In my bedroom. And.. space on the bathroom counter. And.. maybe some hangers in my closet.""Jake, are you asking me to.. move in with you?" I asked, my heart racing. He stared back at me wide-eyed, shaking his head.
"Nope." He giggled to himself. "I know better than to ever do that. I'm just saying.. if you'd ever want to.. maybe move your things.. into a house that I'd like to buy for myself.. I'd.. love to have you there.. with me.. all the time." He said carefully, flashing me a reluctant smile. I bit down on my lip, staring back at him, taking another big sip of my drink. He laughed, nodding."See, I told you.." He sighed, looking away. I couldn't help but smile, crawling over to him, sitting down in his lap, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"I would love a drawer in your house." I said softly, leaning in, kissing his lips.
"And.. everything else too?" He mumbled, smirking back. I rolled my eyes."And everything else too." I said softly, moving my hands up his chest, gently sliding off his shirt, tossing it onto the floor. His hands moved to my waist as he picked me up, maneuvering himself over me. I stared back up at him, my heart pounding. He smiled back at me, his lips moving down from my neck to my chest.
"Well, since we have that figured out.." He sighed. "Now you're mine."
