"Jinyoung.", Jisoo swallowed, avoiding his eyes as she held on to her daughter tightly. Her heart in her throat.

"Thank you. For bringing her back to me.", Jisoo then said, in an almost whisper.

"Y-your welcome.", Jinyoung stammered, "She's your daughter?", Jinyoung asked cautiously, and Jisoo's heart skipped at the question, as she nodded.

"Thank you again, Jinyoung.", Jisoo said with a tight smile, "Seowoo, say bye.", Jisoo then urged her daughter, Seowoo then waved at Seowoo, smiling a bit.

"Stay close next time okay, Seowoo?", Jinyoung prompted patting her head gently.

"Okay!", Seowoo responded, with a toothy grin, Jisoo then inhaled as she immediately excused them, leaving Jinyoung dumbfounded. Jinyoung inhaled at that, wondering why the encounter between them felt almost odd somehow.

"Jeno. You drive.", Jisoo said, rather coldly as she passed her brother her car keys, "And send Lia home.", Jisoo then said, walking over to her car with Seowoo in her arms, leaving Jeno and Lia behind. Jeno then glanced at Lia.

"I-i can get home myself, it's okay.", Lia smiled tightly.

"No. Please. Just let us send you home, you helped me for nearly three hours looking for Seowoo. It's the least I could do.", Jeno said, and Lia inhaled at that.

"Okay.", she said softly, giving in.

Later that night, Jisoo was tucking in Seowoo, glad to have her back. She figured that nothing scared her more than losing her own daughter.

"Seowoo, promise me you'll never wander off like that ever again.", Jisoo then said as she removed strands of hair from Seowoo's face, "Were you scared?", Jisoo then asked, and Seowoo then shook her head, and Jisoo raised her eyebrows at that.

"You weren't?", Jisoo said with a small chuckle, and she shook her head again.

"Well, I was.", Jisoo said softly as she caressed her daughter's head, "I cried because I thought I lost you.", Jisoo frowned slightly.

"I'm sorry for making you cry, mummy.", Seowoo said and Jisoo smiled at that.

"It's okay, baby. I'm just glad you didn't cry.", Jisoo chuckled poking Seowoo's cheek, "You're a big girl!", Jisoo smiled.

"I didn't cry because that nice uncle helped me!", Seowoo said adamantly, and Jisoo's smile faded slowly at that as she swallowed.

"Right. He was really nice, wasn't he?", Jisoo said quietly and Seowoo nodded adamantly.

Wondering if only Seowoo knew. Seowoo then pouted when she noticed her mum looking sad, she sat up and cupped her mum's face with her tiny hands.

"Mummy, please don't be sad!", Seowoo exclaimed sadly, and Jisoo chuckled smally at that.

"I'm not sad, Seowoo. I'm fine. Mummy's just really happy you're okay.", Jisoo said gently.

Suddenly, Seowoo pecked Jisoo on the cheek, comforting her and Jisoo let out a small laugh at that, earning a sheepish cute smile from her daughter. She then kissed Seowoo's forehead.

"Get some sleep, hm?", Jisoo prompted as she tucked Seowoo back in bed, "Goodnight, sweetheart.", Jisoo said, peppering more kisses on her daughter's face, earning giggles from Seowoo.

"Goodnight, mummy! I love you this much!", Seowoo exclaimed as she stretched her arms out, and Jisoo gasped, playing along.

"That is a lot!", Jisoo laughed, she then stretched her own arms out, "And I love you this much.", Jisoo said, moments later she was finally out of Seowoo's bedroom as she closed the door slowly.
