"What?", Jisoo said, taken aback. She was currently at a coffee shop, having a quick meeting with one of her clients.

"Don't worry. If you have already printed them, I'll still pay for the-"

"N-no. It's not about the wedding cards.", Jisoo shook her head, "Just what happened? Are you guys postponing?", Jisoo asked her client, shocked, Jinyoung let out a slight nervous chuckle.

Jisoo is a wedding stationery designer, specialised in designing custom wedding invitations for couples.

Jinyoung and his fiancé had been one of her first clients her sister let her design wedding cards for. She had known Jinyoung for a few months now.

She was young, freshly graduated from university and slowly building up a career, working under her sister who was a well-known and one of the top wedding planners in Korea.

"No. We called it off.", Jinyoung then said, a straight line forming across his face, and Jisoo inhaled at that, "She just wants different things.", Jinyoung shrugged.

"Oh.", Jisoo said quietly, nodding slowly.

"I'm sorry if you have printed the invitations by the way.", Jinyoung said, "I'll pay for it really.", Jinyoung insisted, and Jisoo shook her head.

"It's not that, Mr Park.", Jisoo smiled tightly, "I'm just a little taken aback.", she said in an almost whisper, and Jinyoung sat up at that, furrowing his eyebrows, and Jisoo had thought she must have said something wrong.

"Because you both s-seemed perfect.", Jisoo explained, stammering, and upon hearing that Jinyoung chuckled.

"This isn't the first time I'm hearing that.", Jinyoung responded.

"Are you okay?", Jisoo asked, and Jinyoung felt taken aback for a moment when he realised she was genuinely concerned.

"Yes.", Jinyoung then responded after recomposing himself.

"I mean, we are not meant to be. We fought a lot while making preparations, she never seemed that keen on getting married, I noticed it. But I brushed it off. I should've known when I saw how she hesitated when I proposed.", Jinyoung went on, and Jisoo puffed up her cheeks slightly at that.

"I'm sorry.", Jisoo grimaced sadly, and Jinyoung smiled smally at that.

"But you know, if it makes you feel any better, when the right person comes, the universe makes sure everything aligns perfectly. From how you meet–the coincidences perhaps–, how you fall in love and as well as when you're preparing to have a life together. Everything will just be right and perfect.", Jisoo smiled, eyes sparkling, hoping to be of comfort.

"Really?", Jinyoung asked, tilting his head, narrowing his eyes a bit, skeptical and Jisoo nodded while humming in response.

"Hard to believe. I know.", Jisoo chuckled, "But I've seen great love stories happen in real life, and everything was just right.", Jisoo clarified.

"Have you experienced one?", Jinyoung blurt out, and Jisoo looked up at him, a bit surprised at the question.

"No. Not yet.", Jisoo shook her head, and Jinyoung was about to respond until Jisoo's phone dinged. She bit down on her lip at that.

"Mr Park. I'm sorry, I have another appointment I have to be at in twenty five minutes.", Jisoo apologised as she gathered her stuff.

"Wait, where? I can drop you off.", Jinyoung offered, and Jisoo shook her head.
