"M-marry you?", Jisoo stammered, shocked at her boyfriend'sof 4 yearsquestion. They had just gotten back from work and were now currently at Jinyoung's place talking and cuddling after dinner.

"Yes.", Jinyoung chuckled, "Why do you seem so surprised? It's not like we haven't talked about it before.", Jinyoung said pointedly.

They have been dating for four years now. Both Jisoo and Jinyoung had met during college where Jinyoung had been her senior by a few years, and they have been together eversince.

"No.", Jisoo shook her head, she then sighed as she pulled away from her boyfriend, "You're asking me so nonchalantly. I don't know if you're joking.", she mumbled.

"Is that a no?", Jinyoung raised his eyebrows, and Jisoo glared at him.

"Of course I want to marry you.", Jisoo said, and Jinyoung smiled at that.

"That's good to hear.", Jinyoung smiled, he then pulled out a ring and Jisoo's heart skipped at that, she let out a light gasp.

"Because otherwise I would have to return this ring.", Jinyoung smiled sheepishly, "I'm asking you again Kim Jisoo, will you marry me?", he smiled, and Jisoo teared up at that, nodding.

"Yes. A million times yes.", Jisoo nodded, letting a few tears slipped, grateful and content.

Jisoo snapped out of the memory, it occured to her how at the time everything was going according to plan in her life.

She had her life all set, she graduated with university, she was building a career, she had a great family, she had great friends, she met the love of her life, everything was perfect, she couldn't have been more content with her life.

Other then the fact that Jinyoung might have proposed to her a bit early, considering she had just started building up her career at the time, though she didn't mind.

Jinyoung had promised that she could still spend time building her career for the first couple years of marriage, he just wanted to make Jisoo his, and besides he could afford it, he was established and stable, so what was there to worry about? It was almost too good to be true. Her life was going perfect.

Until exactly a month before their wedding, where everything came crashing down. And it turned out that everything was to good to be true. A month before their wedding, Jisoo had lost her perfect life completely, Jinyoung lost his world.

It had been a rainy day the day everything fell apart, and Jisoo was on the way for her dress fitting, trying to finalise any finishing touches with her designer. But it turned out that she had been at the wrong place at the wrong time–or so the police and doctors had said.

As she was crossing the street, ready to finalise one of the details that would lead to her happily ever after with Jinyoung, that was all then gone the moment she saw a red car coming towards her at full speed, showing no signs of stopping.

And seconds later, everything changed. And just like that Jisoo lost her chance for a happily ever after.

Her perfect life was over the moment her heart stopped beating as she layed on the street in a pool of blood, strangers surrounding her. It was all over.
