Chapter 8

"ANG KAKAIBANG PAKIRAMDAM"

Joshua P.O.V.

I woke up early in the morning with this weird feeling and thoughts.  I am now in our rooftop, thinking why I feel this.

I just felt that I need to made a distance from daniela and I had this the whole night after I heard it from jasper. I thinking if we daniela end up in each other there are more possibilities that my—our mother will not allow it.

"Still thinking about last night?" Dad said. Nagulat ako ng kaunti dahil sa biglaang pag-sulpot nya pero agad din naman akong nakabawi.

I didn't answer his question because I know, the answer is so obvious. "Kamusta braso mo?"

"About to be fine? I put first aid last night."

Hindi naman malubha medyo namaga lang siguro may naipit na ugat but I'm going to be fine.

"Oh yeah, you can do first aid. After all these years we are not so—seperated with each other."

a minute of silence between us, just the soft wind is what I hear. He first broke the silence by opening up the insident last night.

"I know your thoughts, just be with daniela bear with the consequences. Trust me it's more exciting on a relationship with so much consequences than a relationship who runs smoothly. Mas pinagtitibay ng pag-subok ang samahan but in our case of your mother, we didn't run a love by these years but a lust."

After his so long advice I feel like I'm alive. I don't know if it's the power of love but I feel like I can bear with the problems. He left me in the rooftop but after a minute I follow him.

Pupunta na sana ako sa guest room kung nasaan si daniela but I hear her laughing at the dining. I saw her with jasper talking to each other with a bright smile.

Why she smile like that in him? While in me she pout.

Napansin nila ako kaya tumigil sila. Daniela looking at me with a bright aura while jasper? Ah, never mind. I pull a chair beside daniela, I used my left hand because I still can't use my right hand and I'm afraid daniela will see it.

"What happened to your right arm bro? Why did it have bandage?—"

"None of your business."

The bruise on his face  are darken, dad is totally a fighter.

"Can I see it Joshua?" Is it the first time he call my name? And not my last name?

Hindi ako gumalaw kahit na kinikilig ako—what? Even boys can feel that too?!

"The bandage is not right, it should not be so loose."

Dahan-dahan nyang tinanggal ang benda ko at tumbad sa kanya ang nangungulay ubeng braso dahil sa bali ko. Yah I lied to dad.

"Joshua!"

"Don't shout, it's so early. I'm not going to die—"

"But you looked pale! Wait me here I will call Mr. Medran to bring you to hospital."
