Once upon a time in the land of Auradon lived a family of royals King Adam, his queen, Belle, and also a young prince at the tender age of 7 called Ben. one day the little family of 3 rejoiced for they have been graced by the heavens as the queen found out she was pregnant and by this time the rally of villains was coming to a close for a few villains escaped some of the guards' grasp.
From that day on the king was becoming fearful for his family as he scattered the guards to search for these missing villains, and even took a step further by giving his wife some bodyguards which the queen thought was unnecessary, but she also knew her husband as he doesn't do this without reason to which his reason was her unborn child.
During the pregnancy, the young prince was uneasy as he feared that the baby would stir his parent's attention to him/her, to which belle and adam noticed, to which the next day they inquired about his query in his room "Son" the king spoke, "what's on your mind hmm?" "Dad, mum, when the baby comes are you still going to spend time with me?" the young prince questioned. The queen looked at him in shock as she knows what her son was implying and hugged him "oh sweetie" the queen cooed "of course, were going to spend time with you, but not as much because your baby brother or sister is small and can't do what kids your age can do so we have to protect them, even you until he or she is older like you, but we'll also make time for you of course because you are still a baby in my eyes" "well I can protect the baby mum, I'll make sure no baddies can touch the baby, and I'll be the best big brother ever!" the young prince announced.
The family simply laughed until the queen asked the young prince if he would want to feel and talk to her already large belly which the prince nodded a yes and began brushing his tiny hands into her belly "don't you worry baby I'll be the best big brother ever and I'll always protect you!" he said in a tiny voice which made the baby a tiny kick which made the royals smile in joy.
As months passed everybody was buzzing all over the kingdom about the unborn child of the king and queen of Auradon as they readied gifts they would gift to the growing family, but under these joyful-faced crowd was someone lurking quietly into the shadows idling quietly on the tight unseen corners of the kingdom waiting for the time to strike.
A loud cry was heard all over the kingdom a week later, alerting all the royals all over the land and beyond as the news spread like wildfire that the queen successfully birthed a new baby boy named Adrien Maurice Beast. The kingdom rejoiced in full for the birth of a new prince and days later the King announced that there would be a grand ball to commemorate the birth of the newborn baby in the castle tomorrow and all are invited.
The next day hundreds to thousands of people gathered around the gate of the castle, a full mix of classes from rich to poor, royal and commoner, regardless of class or creature. They only have one thing in mind to take a peek and gift the new royal family member and wish him a happy life.
As the gates opened and the ballroom set up, the baptism of the baby had come full swing as weary and joyful eyes lay on the fairy godmother and the royal family as they watched her bless the baby with her wand before they rose as the fairy godmother's voice echoed the halls "Rise my fellow Auradonians as I present you, Prince Adrien Maurice Beast!" she announced which was met with gleeful cheers and applause.
The ball was very enchanting and joyful at most as drinks were passed and the music had taken over the whole ballroom, while the royal family sat on their thrones and watched in glee. The young prince felt like he haven't given his brother a proper welcoming gift so he got off his throne and placed a golden beast broach into little Adrien's baby cloth "here little brother I have something for you, it's our family broach that way you would always remember you are part of our family, and also let people know you are part of our family" the young prince said which inturn the young baby played.
King Adam and King Belle smiled at their eldest son's gesture, after the young prince gave his small present to his new brother the King and Queen released him to the ballroom to dance and mingle with the other guest.
The day was simply bliss for the family as they were a happier family than ever. But we all know that once happiness is found it can only be short-lived.
As the guest finally disappeared into their homes the royal family was exhausted, the king and queen placed their baby into his crib while the young prince watches over the baby and brushes his hand lightly into his peachy skin, but was a bit short-lived as he quickly fell asleep a few minutes later on the side of the crib to which they noticed and carried him to their bed to sleep with them, and as the night grew deeper without a sound the door of the balcony was open, a large figure towered the crib and without waking the baby the figure carried the baby into his arms with ease, The figure was about to make a home run to the balcony door when suddenly he kicked his foot into one of the tables and broke a vase.
The King & Queen fumbled at the noise, and when they turned to the source of the noise they saw a shadowy figure holding their precious baby in his arms. They ran to the balcony hoping to stop the mysterious man from taking that precious child but it was too late as the figure disappeared into the dark starry skies.
"MY BABY!" The queen screeched in distraught as the figure disappeared with her baby and wailed and cried on her husband's chest while the king simply cried silently with her as pain and anger befell him as both their hearts were smashed into tiny pieces.
The Queen's cries of agony were heard all over the castle waking the other guards and staff even Lumiere, Cogsworth, Ms. Potts even the young prince when he woke he saw the empty crib where his baby brother once lay empty which dawned him with realization his brother was gone he failed on his first day.
The young prince approached his parents on the balcony and saw them cry in despair. "Mum" he cried as his heart ached in pain which she reacted by simply pulling him into a teary hug which he joined in tears.
From a peaceful night of joy became a night of a frightening hunt as sirens of police cars rolled into the streets of the kingdom with the king as their leader to find his missing son while Queen Belle was forced to sit still in the castle with Ms. Potts even though it is her responsibility as a mother to find her child. The young prince wanted to come as well to search for his missing brother but the king argued that he was too young and was also forced to sit still at the castle.
The king and his guards knocked on every door in the kingdom, but unknown to him that the figure that took his baby was already gone as he stole one of the cars and vanished into the isle of the lost undetected and never to return.
