Chapter 22

Everybody snapped from watching the fight when they heard the roar from someone, they looked only to see Ben stripping off his jacket and jumping towards the water. "Ben are you crazy!" "I have to stop them from fighting before any of us gets hurt" he explained as he swam towards them, "Ben get back here!" Belle screamed as he saw his son swimming toward the 2 giant creatures before them.

Adrien was about to follow him when he was stopped by Mrs. Potts and Lumiere, "what are you doing? I have to go after him!" "no, you are not going to young man it's far too dangerous" Mrs. Potts explained sternly to him, he tried to get off the 2 adults before him but was futile as Adam and Belle came into the scene and stopped him again as Lumiere explained to the both of them about what he was planning. "Beau I'm scared too, but we have to trust him and pray that they are safe ok?" with his mother's own comforting words he relaxed and quietly prayed that his brother was safe as Uma's water attacks rocked the ship.

"MAL, UMA STOP! BACK DOWN NOW!" "and what are you going to do huh? Splash me?" Mal growled at Uma's retort as she felt she wanted to burn her alive, he tried to reason with her again as he and the people on the boat wanted the fighting to an end. Uma on the other hand felt conflicted with her actions as she does want to make a difference and be free with her crew in Auradon, and on the other hand, she doesn't want to be like her mother but a very better version than her. So in her final response, she removed her ring, and with the help of her tentacles, she reached it out to Ben and disappeared into the shallow waters of the undertow never to be seen again.

Everybody cheered for their king's victory and also Mal's as the day was saved. After Ben Climbed from the boat's ladders, he was tackled by his brother, "don't you dare do anything that reckless again!" "hey don't worry I'm here unscathed so don't worry about it too much ok" he responded as he tried to block his punches to which everybody around them laughed. "Tell that to mum and dad, they were worried sick" Adrien whispered to him to which he agreed as he felt that he would be scolded by both his parents and Mrs. Potts again. Adrien finally lets him go to join the others while he was in the background smiling at him.

After Mal transformed back into a human and gave her mother's spell book to the fairy godmother, the party was in full swing, even though the floor was filled with water it doesn't stop everyone from dancing their hearts out. As he observed the party he could see everybody hitting off quite nicely, even Jay and Lonnie to which he and his friends, even Li shipped as it was so obvious, even to the point that they've bet on when they were going to get together.

After dancing for a while, they dispersed and talked amongst themselves about anything, with some engaging topics with different people. He was currently talking to Ellie to which no one said a word as they were both blushing in embarrassment when he was taken away from her by his older brother as they were going to talk to his real mum and dad which made him nervous. He wanted to get away because he was a nervous wreck but it was too late as the both of them were now in front of them as they left their previous conversation with Mrs. Potts about something.

"Oh Ben, Beau you're here we were just talking about you, any way what seems to be the problem?" Belle inquired, "no, nothing's fine it's just about Adrien" "Ben no we talked about this" his father retorted as it was still heartbreaking to talk about his lost son again, "no dad I know where Adrien is" the couple stared at him in disbelief as they weren't believing their son's words as what they heard from him couldn't be true. After what felt like forever they finally heard some news about their missing son, their eyes on the brink of tears of joy and jubilation.

"Ben tell me everything, tell me now, tell me please where is your brother?!" Belle asked hurriedly as her heart was anxious and worried about her missing son. Adam held his wife into his beastly chest and motions to tell them before his wife pounces on him for answers. "I was on the Isle-" "wait why were you at the Isle?" they both questioned, to which he dismissed as he would tell later. He told them about everything from the reason why he was on the Isle in the first place, his and Adrien's kidnapping, and also the pirate fight, until he stopped as he eyed his brother who stared at them nervously, to which the couple noticed.
