Chapter 23

"GOOD MORNING AURADON! OUR TOP STORY OF TODAY IS ABOUT THE SHOCKING ANNOUNCEMENT THAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT AT THE GRAND COTILLION AS THE MISSING PRINCE IS NOW FOUND AND IT WAS NONE OTHER THAN BEAU LEGUME-" everywhere you go, and in every tv in the country that was the entire news the next morning as the grand cotillion ended to which left everyone shocked.

As the morning sun's rays reflected on the palace's window. Everyone was at buzz as their little prince was found, even in the kitchen as the scullery, the cooks, and some maids hounded Mrs. Potts and Lumiere for answers as they drank their morning cup of coffee. "So is it true Mrs. Potts?" "Is the young master really Beau LeGume?" They asked in unison but were stopped by Cogsworth at the last second. "Now, now everyone let's get back to work, the young masters and mistress are still in bed and that means we still have work to do until they all wake." He explained.

"But Mr. Cogsworth young master Adrien is back, you can't blame us for our curiosity," the cook said defending the staff, "yes I know but we have jobs to do so I suggest we do them first before the explanations, so go move" the crowd dispersed as Cogsworth and resumed with their work after gulping their cup of joe. "Merci mon ami" "yes thank you Cogsworth, I can hardly breathe with them asking about the young master, I could hardly believe it myself," Mrs. Potts told and sipped her cup of morning tea.

She glanced pensively at the ceiling as she remembered what happened on the boat that same night.

Flashback

It was after Adrien's public reveal. Everybody was livid as nobody said a single word, it was quiet, so quiet in fact that you could hear a fly buzzing about in the room, or so quiet that you could hear a glass drop from somebody's hand.

Then all of a sudden Mrs. Potts came to the front of everybody and bowed to him. Everybody was perplexed at the old maid's gesture but The Fairy Godmother stood in front and mimicked what Mrs. Potts did, then the D4, and slowly but surely everyone bowed to him in recognition, to which Adrien replied with a bow of his own. But just before they would all question their highnesses, they landed by the shores, at the pier where the media, the press, and their car were waiting.

So even with everyone still baffled about what happened, they left the event shocked yet joyful as the prince was back home. Mrs. Potts and Lumiere stared at the 4 of them with a gleam as a picture of an even more, happy family came into the picture as they saw the whole Beast family finally together as they were indeed happy, and whole.

Even more so as they arrived at the castle as they insisted on staying with each other for the night in the master bedroom, and as Mrs. Potts checked on them that night, she saw them in each other's arms sleeping blissfully in the starlit night.

On that same morning, Jordan's podcast with Ally and Freddie called: Spill the tea sis, went trending overnight and filled in the media that night, to which Mrs. Potts, Lumiere, and Cogsworth predicted that the castle gates would be swarming with reporters later.

It was late morning and the family is still not down for their breakfast, which worried the 3 heads of staff as mountains of reporters hounded the gates asking for a statement from their King on his brother's reappearance, and their breakfast was getting cold. So they did the most responsible thing to do waking them up, and so with Collete and Chip (who wanted to see young master Adrien) behind them, they sneaked into the door and pulled the curtains free to free the room of its dark self by lighting it all up with the help of the sun.
