Gandalfs Granddaughter

Chapter 6:

3rd Pov:
Bilbo seemingly being very smart figured out what Gwen meant by daylight and tried stalling the trolls. "He's got worms in his tubes in fact they all do i wouldn't risk it I really wouldn't." Bilbo said as the troll picked up Bombur. Bombur was dropped on the pile of wriggling dwarfs making them groan in pain. Within a few seconds the dwarfs erupted in chaos and accusations. Thorin realizing what was happening kicked Fili and Kili silencing them. The rest of the dwarfs boasted how big the worms were. Bilbo saw Gandalf through the trees and kept up his charade.
"May the dawn take you all." Gandalf yelled and smashed his staff down on the boulder exposing the trolls to the bright early morning light. The trolls roared in agony trying to escape the blistering light but got turned into stone though Gandalf poked them with his staff for good measure. Gandalf helped the dwarfs out of the bags and Thorin rushed over to Gwen followed by the dwarfs. Gandalf quickly ran over to his granddaughter bending down to feel her heartbeat . Gandalf placed the tip of his staff on her chest muttering a spell worriedly. "Come on Gwen we need you, I need you." Thorin whispered under his breathe. Thorins felt connected to the beautiful humble girl that laid unconscious before him. Without Thorins consent a tear made it's way down Thorins rough face and through his thick beard, surprised he wiped it away and stared at Gwen as a ragged breathe raked through her body. Gandalf sighed in relief before calling Thorin forward to help him. Gwen's eyes shot open revealing her exotic purple eyes that shined in the sunlight.
"Is everyone ok?" She croaked.
Gandalf and the dwarfs and Bilbo chuckled lightly. "Everyone is perfectly fine." Balin assured her with a kind smile.
She smiled back and looked up at the solid trolls. "You guys are brilliant." She complimented them grinning. "You're bloody amazing." She smiled.
