Special appearance from someone, they may appear in the future too enjoy!

I was ugly I didn't think it was a crime to be ugly until I met people. I am not looking for a sympathy vote it was a fact. I saw it people saw it.

I poked myself in the mirror pulling at my lips wishing they were wider. I sighed, my shoulders sagging. I didn’t see what Caleb saw, I wanted to believe him I did but it was Caleb!

Urgh.

I quickly got changed, running out of the house; a hot shower will have to wait because I was running late.

"Ina!" I whipped round to see Caleb getting out of his car.

"Want a lift?"

"Are you stalking me?"

"No I was just going past and saw you." I folded my arms.

"Oh really unlucky for you my street Is a dead end only one way in and only one way out. It's a close.”

"Oh."  He was a cutie especially when he pouted.

"So you were stalking me then?"

"Whatever Selina." I sighed deeply.

"Well I'll see you at school."

"See you." I almost felt bad then I remembered what Levi did to me. I will never go through that again, so I soldiered on to school.

When I opened my locker, a black rose was sitting there.

This rose is just as black as your heart but it's still beautiful and that's because underneath the darkness it's still a rose, a beautiful, sweet rose.

CJM

I side smiled, oh no he didn't.

---

"Did you like the rose?"  He came towards me holding a bag of McDonald's, sipping his drink.

"What rose? Oh I chucked it in the bin."  He smirked at me.

"I didn’t know your bag was the bin."  He said I guess he spotted the rose sitting in my bag, I couldn’t exactly leave it in my locker, it was sweet gesture and I wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction he made my day. "In that case, here."  He stuffed the empty McDonalds cup in my bag as he walked past me.

"Caleb!"

"Have fun." I grunted going off to history when I got there an envelope was on my seat and I looked towards him but he shrugged with a smile on his face.

‘They undermine
we will shine.
I see the pain beneath those features
the hurt of difference
Being unique isn't so bad
All that matters is the INA you.’

I chuckled, that bastard I thought.

‘I know they see you as the ice queen but even a little heat can melt the heart.’

When he wasn't looking I stuffed the paper the poem was on in my bag and ripped the envelope throwing it on the bin. I could see the shock on his face as I smiled with satisfaction. Not on my watch, definitely not. You will not get to me Caleb Juliano Montego.

---

JB cornered me a week after Caleb’s endless effort of trying to make me agree to go out with him but each time I persisted with a no. The guy just does not give up; I didn’t know whether to count that as a good thing or a bad thing.

"Ina, wait." JB was muscular, it was a natural trait that was either genetics or some mad voodoo, because his whole family were like that and they were even larger than him. They were here last year before graduating and they took up 3.9/4 of the hallway.
