I Know I KNOW its short but please vote and comment next chaper should defo be longer! I know romance is a bit slow but they are getting there! I dont want to rush them!

Thanks for the lift." she said and I smiled.

"Your welcome."  Before she could get out of the car, I grabbed her wrist and she looked at me. "Thank you for giving me a chance. I know you don't have to, I mean it’s just, I know..." I cursed myself, I was rambling and I didn't ramble ever.

"It's alright but Caleb you are not off the hook."  She warned.

"I wouldn't expect it any other way." I drove home, Rayan running out of the house to meet me.

"Caleb can we go to see a film please?!"  She begged.

"At the weekend."  She agreed and I thought about inviting Ina. Her number was securely tapped in my phone.

Wanna come cinema this Saturday

I was praying she would reply after 20 minutes she eventually did.

Don't you think that's a bit forward?

Then another came through

... Fine I'll come. What time?

Let's say three and my little sister is coming too, I don't want you to feel awkward.

Aw how sweet

I didn't know whether to take it as a sarcastic tone or not buts it Ina, so it probably was.

What film?

The remakes of anaconda

I want to see that

I don't think you are ready to see that just yet

:/ you did not just say that

I meant the movie

Sure you did...

Im joking, I think my sister wants to see home

We can go and watch that too

Ok sure ;)

Now get off my phone.

I chuckled chucking my phone on my bed, when my dad barged into my room, holding Rayan in a head lock.

Come help me with this knuckle head."  He said as he held Rayan and I tickled her side. She was laughing so hard, tears were streaming down her face. We stopped and she got up.

"I'm telling mom when she gets back!"   She shouted walking out of my room. My dad chuckled stroking his goatee before popping over to my mini fridge and grabbing a drink. He sat on my bean bag chair like a king.

"What's your problem?" he asked.

"It's women, more specifically a girl."

"Since when have you ever had problems in that department? According to JB the girls LOVE you." I sighed if only he understood.

"It's just, I really like her, I mean really like her, she has her own talk show which I listen to and enjoy."

"She is a celebrity?"

"Not exactly. Ina isn't like that. To the guys they don't think she's pretty, you know but for once I can say I don't care. She's really tough, doesn't take people's bull including mine and I just really like her."  He laughed.

"Oh boy you got it bad."  He took a swig of his drink, shaking his head. "When I and your mother first got together, it was crazy. Her friends were on her case constantly ‘where did she find Coolio?’" I laughed loudly,

"I can see what they mean with the dreads." He mugged me.

"They thought we weren't serious because your mother was all pearls and diamond and I was a stereotypical brother from a disadvantage area. She only went out with me on a first date as a joke. I called her uptight she disagreed, I told her to prove it. But I showed your mother looks aren't everything if you connect with a person's soul. We were friends first before anything, I showed her just because I didn't live in a flower garden didn't mean I didn't blossom into one, just because you live rich doesn't make you a good person. Character good heart and good will and wishing things on your neighbours that you wish on yourself are what makes you a good person."  Leo was smart, he talked sense, it was during his PhD as a paediatrician that he met my mother and I was three years old at the time. It’s funny because you couldn’t tell he was a doctor until you saw the white coat, stethoscope and all. He had just been a guy next door and my mother was coping with the loss of my father. By the time I was six, they were together, living under one roof, in year they were married and in another year Rayan came along.

One thing I loved about him was he was so smart, saw things from point of view I never thought of, he made me think deeper than the surface and my mom too, he never raised his voice, he never shouted in front of us, he never disrespected my mother at all or called her out of her name, he treated her like his equal and a gentlemen, he always said that it was due to the fact his mother was a feminist along with his five sisters and uncle Rafe, he had common sense.

I learnt a lot of difference from him because you can be academically smart with no common sense and you can have common sense and not be academically smart, he had both which I appreciated.

I loved Leo like my own father he was good for my mother. Before Leo according to grandma Benji my mother was so uptight before Leo, all work work work, part of the reason she blames herself for my father’s death, she felt she could have saw the signs that his health was deteriorating, but with Leo she became relaxed more happy. At first it saddened me it wasn't my father that made those changes but she made me realise Leo and him were two different people who affected her lives in so many ways, they are both her soul mates it's just one had to leave shorter than the other and if she didn’t compare I shouldn't.

"I hear you Leo."

"Of course you do because knowing you thought you could use that Montego charm just because your father was Italian, it doesn’t matter it doesn't mean you have all the moves."

"Well I'm taking her to the cinema with me and Rayan." He nodded.

"Keep it PG."

"It's a cartoon."

"I don't mean the movie." He snorted.

"Of course. By the way uncle Rafe called earlier wanted me to let you know Ramadan starts tomorrow for him which means he won't be able to make the trip."  Leo swore I’m sensing he forgot.

"I'll give him a call later. I'm going to admit it but I'm glad he became a Muslim, truthfully it wouldn’t bother me what religion he followed as long as he had god." I nodded.

"Me too."

"All that drinking, girls and smoking was bad for him, I just didn't expect him to make a full u turn. You see everything is alright in moderation..." he continued and I listened, Leo was philosophical like that, he made me wiser, taught me things. With Ina I need to be wise, I need to be careful I still have some places to go to get her to trust me.
